NordVPN 64% off - Standard 2 years 3 months £80.68 + 100% Quidco Cashback @ NordVPN

Posted 20th Nov 2022
Currently you can get NordVPN 2 Years 3 months for £80.68 (£67.23 excluding VAT) but with 100% Quidco cashback on the excluding VAT amount, meaning £13.45 after cashback. You could select a different country for tax to get it lower if you aren't based in the UK

You could also make use of the £2.50 Quidco bonus if you haven't already, taking it down to £10.95 - quidco.com/cam…3f6

NordVPN is one of the better VPN providers, all the usual features, no logging, kill switch, obfuscated connection etc.

Seems like a decent deal.

From the now expired Quidco post I am led to believe this is for new customer accounts (not subscription renewals on existing accounts) and cashback only on the excluding VAT amount of £67.23). Unless you fancy a temporary excursion to a non-VAT country.

Fyi in case this matters to someone, NordVPN no longer has servers operating in India.

I have used purevpn their speeds some times could be poor.

But after launch of new protocol (wireguard I think) its been better at least the stream on hotstar works

Thanks for the heads up, but I am not sure this will work, when I checked it on mine it seems to rely on you going to a specific link?
    nordvpn.com/amex

    Can anyone confirm?

I tried purchasing through the Quidco link and cant seeing anything in my Amex account (but then again I have never used a card offer so I dont know where this appears?

I got to ask the question. Why are they doing 100% cash back? No firm can run without making money, so it seems obvious to me there is some data sharing or something between Nord and the cash back company. I.e. your brower data perhaps? If someone could enlighten me that would be great Thanks

This deals happens only once or twice a year.
    1) As so many firms out there, they rely on you forgetting to cancel or carrying on with them once you see the quality of their product.
    2) They rely on you advising your friends to purchase their product (most likely with a lesser deal)
    3) The more 'customers' they have, the more weight they carry in the industry -> investors (they raised $100M of investments in April), cutting deals with other firms, etc.

    Cold.

Can pick up Norton 360 Deluxe (which includes Norton Secure VPN) with 5 devices for less than £15 for the year. Requires the renewal to be cancelled.

As part of "black friday", the deal is even cheaper - amazon.co.uk/dp/…RMV

"Norton no longer allows torrents over VPN. This crippling of the service means it no longer useful to me and I will need to find an alternative. I have cancelled my subscription. If you have a working solution that will allow torrents over VPN I will reinstate my subscription. "

The only reason I need a vpn is for torrents :-)

No point in buying this... the company that owns NordVPN is a business registered in London... what's the point of security if someone can walk in the backdoor.

Just got this, set up on router, poor speeds, works well on phone via app and pc, but on router is poor, have requested refund as cashback not tracking untill march and it's free, but there holding money till march, so pointless...

Did you try tweaking it a bit (trying different servers and loads of other options can find on Google)? I have to swap server etc regularly (either due to low speed or website reporting suspicious activity, although as far as am aware is typical when using a VPN) but am happy with the service overall... using Tor Browser is another option but I'm generally happy using Chrome etc with a reasonable acceptance of the pros vs cons in keeping history/cookies that are useful

Netflix works absolutely fine in Germany.
For Amazon Prime a bit trickier but they have some dedicated servers, e.g., New York for Amazon US
iPlayer, been year I don't watch BBC so cannae attest.

Hey guys, is this only for new accounts?

If so can I just use a new email address with Nordvpn or does it need to match my Quidco account?
    ecuador's avatar
Only new accounts, they don't need to match your Quidco email.

Update: tracked for me and it’s showing £65.36. I paid £80.68, so not a direct 100% cashback for the £67.23 without VAT. (edited)

An editor at Which? Magazine said Express followed by Nord were the best vpns. This was posted on a journalist forum earlier this year.

Nord VPN cashback DID NOT work for me last year.

I followed the quidco link and purchased the vpn last year.

Firstly, Quidco said I didn't purchase it and requested proof of purchase, contacting nord vpn, sending in bank statement.

Then ,after everything was verified.Quidco and nord vpn said that I haven't followed the quidco link. And still declined the cashback. Its such a lie, I was very careful as the cashback was much higher last year.

All other purchases did on that date from other retailers cashback were confirmed.
    bassplayerchris's avatar
Yeah, NordVPN did the same thing to me two years ago. It was the first time I used them, so there was no chance of ambiguity. Went through the appeals process with quidco and nord claimed that the order number I provided on the claim form didn't match the one on their system (it was identical - I took it from the invoice nord provided me with).
  14. dioxyde0's avatar
is it only for new nord customers or new quidco customers? i have nord but no quidco

Go through TopCashback - I tried to create a thread but they merged it into this one so it's hidden.

New NordVPN account (new email) and 94.5% cashback as of today

I got over 100% cash’s last last year, no problem, absolutely no idea how they do it, but what I do know is that nord is Deffo in the top 3 of vpns, arguably express vpn the best, but very in frequently will get a deal better than 3 months free.,, great deal, good post op.

I took up this offer when it was on 2 years ago and my subscription is about to expire. You do get 100% cashback but you do need to use a new email address if you have subscribed previously.
  20. Kal_Sha's avatar
Do you actually need to subscribe as new customer to get the 100% cashback? There are 3 cashback deals on Quidco, they all look the same but only the first one says "new customer".
  21. kylemj's avatar
Quidco has been bad for tracking in the past year, tend to stick with TCB but fingers crossed it tracks fine
    NilzAp's avatar
I agree. My TCB got tracked and was payable within the timescale. Great offer because I ended up paying £20 for a 2 year plan. (edited)

  23. dfaz's avatar
I’ve had NordVPN for a few years using a previous similar deal, and TBH it’s a bit crap. It will frequently get stuck on ‘assigning IP address’ and never move past so I have to go into the app, cancel the search and then start a new search.

How long does it take Quidco to pay the cashback? Thanks
    BealBocht's avatar
I bought this a couple of days ago, and Quidco is showing Estimated Payment on 16 March 2023.

I did go for a similar offer a couple of years ago (which is why I need to re-purchase) and Quidco did pay out.
  26. 2manymilos's avatar
Nord now showing as 105% on Quidco
    Gadgeteer's avatar
This is falling into the too good to be true category! How reliable is their tracking & payout?

I'm also tempted to take out the higher plan with 1TB cloud storage, if it does genuinely work out to be nearly free!? (edited)
  27. scuttle's avatar
Just done this with 105% cashback through Quidco. £83.43 (£100.12 including VAT) means £87.60 cashback plus £25 bonus = £112.60 in total. So that means that if it all goes through I’ll be given £12.48 for 2 years of Nord… sceptical it’ll all work though.
    Gadgeteer's avatar
Did you go for the plus plan as standard only comes to £80.68 including VAT?

But plus is £109.84 so not sure how you've got your total! (edited)
  28. Sirdoneff8's avatar
Sorry, when is quidco reflecting the purchase? I followed the instructions, but see no changes in the quidco account. Thank you
    Fattyboomboom's avatar
It can take a day to show the purchase. Be patient. If it doesn't show after a few days then raise a cashback claim. I've done cashback through Quidco with nordvpn before and it went through just fine
  29. huddsandy's avatar
Buy in Hong Kong $ there is no VAT, can't see anything in Quidco terms that would not pay on out this basis. Anyone care to add?

I bought ip vanish for 24 months for £14 last year I found the speeds and connections were much better than nord vpn. Might be best to wait till black friday and find one. I also used PayPal so I could cancel and make sure they don't charge after

Thanks for posting. My current subscription ends in February so this is perfect.
Does anybody know if I should simply not confirm my email address or should I confirm the email address but not sign-in to Nord?. Trying not to waste the remaining 3 months on my existing subscription, so don't want to inadvertently activate the subscription until February.

I'm in the exact same position (expire in February), so would also love to know the answer to this.

Use them now for around 5 years I believe and its a good provider when it comes to anonymity. However, Netflix is a hit and miss depending on server but that means not its a bad service as other providers have the same issue from my experience.
