Got one from Argos recently. Have used it a few times and seems to work well. Gotta say, there is an unusual artificial 'taste' to the food but I'm assuming that will go once it's been used a few times.

Grab some silicone tray, tenner for two that fit this, saves on a lot of cleaning up and the "taste" too, great thing, i love minie!- These Fryers usually take several uses to get rid of the smell of the various components being heated to high temperatures. Basically a heating element and a fan they are not disimilar to a small fan oven. I went for a a £44 Gourmia 6.7L which is about the right price. A double or dual zone probably gives more versatility.

Yes, same with us, so much quicker and the food is a lot nicer than when done in the oven.
