sorted byThis is a good deal because of the cloud storage. I don't know any other way of getting this much storage from a mainstream provider this cheaply.
It's worth having, even if you only use it as an extra way to back up the photos from your phone.
I cancelled my Dropbox subscription last year and have used this instead.
How many of the included, 6 user, one-year licences, can you stack on one PC.
My aunt needs Office - and I am buying it & installing it on her only laptop.
Can I stack all the 6 user licenses, so that it gives her Office365 for the next 6 years?
(I am new to this subscription model of office, I have only ever bought/used the non-subscription version of Office, so please help map out the pathways here (as if I were a newbie).
I'm guessing this would help out other members too. (edited)
You can stack the active subscription up to 5 years. (edited)
We can them stack 5 of the 6 user licenses together, on her laptop.
So she would get 5 years (one left unused) of Office 365 by buying this package for a one off cost of £44.99, that would cover the whole 5 years (£7.49 per year)? (edited)
There's nothing to stop you buying twice to give you a two year subscription. I've pretty much done that by buying it long before my existing subscription expires.
If you're only buying this for the sake of getting Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc there may be more suitable options: LibreOffice is free and I believe you can still buy a non-subscription version of Microsoft Office.
I only bother with this because of the bundled cloud storage. By comparison, Dropbox charges £7.99 per month for 2TB. (edited)
it has worked for some previously, but mixed success I think
Windows 7 or later.
