I have one. It's a total gimmick and far less effective than the previous Vileda mop I had which had a traditional wringer in flexible plastic which gripped the mop when you pressed it down.
Also the length of the bucket on this makes it almost impossible to fill this from a sink top because it won't fit in the sink.

I found that there is a knack when using these that is not mentioned in the instructions. When pumping the handle to spin the mop head, pump slowly to load water on to the mop head, and pump fast to remove the water from the mop head, when using it like this it was very efficient. I used a jug to fill it if the sink was too low to fit the bucket under, they don't take much water, and the jug helps to get a more accurate water level, which also helps when loading water on to the mop head.
Sorry, I just noticed that my one is a turbo without the foot pedal, it works by pumping the handle to spin the mop, not the foot pedal, but I will leave the comment on in case it helps anyone with a similar model to the one that I have, or the foot pedal speed control causes similar problems. Paid much more for this and ended up bining it. It was a complete waste of money it simply does not work. The spinney bit won't spin when you put the mop in it. Even at this price not worth getting. Avoid!!

Good price. I went to aldi a couple of weeks ago for a mop and they didn't have them. Ended up paying £5 in robert dyas for just a mop.

I have one and paid £28 2 months ago for it. It's actually decent for those who don't want slippily tiled or wooden floors after mopping.

Best mop I've used, my mum got the same one after using mine.
If you're struggling with this you must be trying to play quidditch or something!

I doubt this would be price ones near me. These would be snapped up and sold on eBay for more
