Richer sounds will more than likely price match so you can knock it down to £1175 with a 6 year warranty

Had 3 G2 65" all with coil whine (known issue) not so much on the 77 or 55" oddly. Anyway I grabbed a 55" from RS earlier who did price match however it had 3-4 dead/stuck pixels so I've just returned it. Had the same issue on my C2 thankfully second one is fine, think LG's QC is terrible on their recent OLED's. 49186424-uIfxP.jpg

How do you check for dead pixels

Maybe CS model is way to go if the C2 versions have been cut back on in terms of quality?

Quality has always been an issue with LG. I remember problems with their kit going back to circa 2010. I’m surprised to hear that they are having issues with their G series TVs but at least they are covered by the 5 year parts warranty as standard.

Good deal! Paid £1299 from Richer Sounds during Black Friday event. My 55 has no issues at all. just deciding now whether I should pair it with LG S95QR or Samsung Q990b soundbar. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't know much about soundbars - but I'd go for the LG one just cuz the TV is LG - keep everything matching y'know

So according to Price Spy the G2 55” was going for £1019/ £1020 during December.
So I have my fingers crossed for a £1050-ish price if the Price Spy info is correct?

I'd ignore Pricespy...unless they give specific details, that £1k price could have been an eBay seller or a refurb.
