Check Costco if you have membership

I can confirm TCB don't pay out if a discount is already applied via the retailer.

Have a look at Tyre shopper , they are apart of national tyres/Halfords group and usually are cheaper

Black circles was £20 a fitted tyre cheaper than tyre shopper but that might just be be for the ones I was looking at.

    These or ps5’s?

Both are class leaders, top of the tree so hardly going wrong with either. Nothing between them. Cheapest wins then and the Goodyears are usually a tad cheaper.

Took my car to National tyres just before Christmas altogether to change two tyres it took them 10 hours and that’s no joke they used a buzz gun on my Ford and snapped the bolt had to take it to another garage to get it removed also wasn’t happy as all hammer marks over my alloy

Unless they put it on the time before that visit that's not their fault. Bolts shouldn't snap with the force needed to remove them if they're tourqed to spec properly.

I imagine they weren't too happy either at having to pay another garage - dealerships are charging £150/hour labour and good independents not much less.

Pay a few quid more and get a decent tyre - its the only thing keeping you on the road. Not worth skimping on.

Tcb didn't pay for any of my purchases with them (and they usually do) because of the discounts so I wouldn't count on this as a thing for certain.

Are the aysmmetric 6 better than the 5 ? Currently have the asymmetric 5 on all 4 just now but really need to replace the front 2 asap, been holding off for a goodyear deal in costco but they’ve just put the michelin deal back on AGAIN for another few weeks
    wilburscoville9191's avatar
Hi. Do they tend to put offers of Goodyear often please? I'll need x4 unfortunately. Costco appears to be the cheapest currently but I haven't bitten the bullet just yet.
