The All Purpose descaler has a powerful limescale formulation that removes up to 100 Percent of limescale from small household appliances.

Limescale reduces performance and can ultimately shorten the life of an appliance.

OUST’s range of products are designed to restore good-as-new shine and performance to your household appliances – no hassle, just great results.

Limescale builds up in layers around heating elements so more energy is required when heating water. The result is a reduction in efficiency and an increase in running costs.

  • Specially formulated to work quickly and easily to restore small household appliances to their best in just 10 minutes.
  • Remove tough limescale
  • Results in just 10 minutes
  • Helps prolong appliance life and restore good as new shine to appliances
  • 3 treatment sachets suitable for kettles, irons, coffee machines and shower heads

Good deal but I am using food grade citric acid now. Bought 2 kg off seller 5 yrs ago on ebay and lasts for ages. (edited)

Cheaper at Amazon 2kg £10.12 with voucher

+1 for food grade citric acid granules. Don't waste your money on these one shot packets when a teaspoon of granules does the same job and the pack last year's for a similar amount of outlay.
You can also use the granules on limescale deposits on toilets too (edited)

Second that. Food grade, so not nasty to people and the environment. A scoop every week keeps the kettle sparkling. Cheaper as well.

For kettles, citric acid granules are much better and cheaper - no chemical smell or taste, all natural and very fast. A small box from Wilco has lasted me years.

I'd recommend just using distilled vinegar in your kettle. A 40p bottle from Tesco can deacale my kettle maybe 10 times and never leaves a bad smell. Better for the environment and far cheaper

so do you use the same vinegar again and again? That is money saving!

This is normal price, just pop in to a tesco on any given day and you'll pay £1 for a pack of 3.

I had a look at citric acid on Amazon based on comments above. This isn’t food grade but is suitable for appliances. £2.50 for 500g. On s&s with a further 10% off it came to £1.87 for me.

Thanks for that..... Ordered for £1.87 with voucher and max s&s discount!

Just buy 5 litres of white vinegar- I use this for all descaling much cheaper. Also get a squirt spray bottle, a bit of white vinegar plus a drop of washing up liquid plus water and you have descaling shower and bathroom cleaner. Also great on windows. The only good thing about Oust is the convenience of the packet. 5 litres of white vinegar lasts ages can be used for loads of things and you can also pickle some onions and put it on you chip if you are that way inclined

How about just using limescale remover for toilets? Just put a squirt in the kettle and half a litre or so of water. Then turn on the kettle to heat the water (to medium hot - not boiling!) As long as you rinse the kettle VERY thoroughly (i.e. fill with water and swish around half a dozen times). (edited)
