The collected surviving episodes of the classic British sitcom starring Rodney Bewes and James Bolam as working class northern lads Bob and Terry. While Bob is trying to better his life, Terry is content to live it to the full, pursuing the ladies and supporting the local team. The set includes all eight surviving episodes from the 1960s series 'The Likely Lads', plus the 26 episodes from the two series of 'Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads' from 1973/4 and the 1974 Christmas special.

I have the box set of this and Auf plus Spender etc etc.......all about people in my neck of the woods. Northern humour tends to be honest and gritty!

I own a lot of the old “comedy classics” from long ago..most don’t age well, and were best when they were of their time…I recently watched all of this box set and still enjoyed it, and still found it funny.

    released 50-odd years ago.
I don't believe that the world has ever changed as much in just 50 years

If you just print off the DVD cover you'll have a complete record of the full range of Rodney Bewes' facial expressions
