From reading this it sounds best not to try and redeem VIP gifts

Yeah, it's unclear though whether purchasing a gift card is an eligible purchase.

if the don't pay straight away you need to wait 120 days and question it.

Would be interesting to hear if anyone actually hears back straight away.

Unsure about gift cards. Though bought some normal lego in July. Still waiting on Groupon. Long online chat with them yesterday, they kept asking for what voucher code I used, to which I kept pointing out it was a reward thing like this with no code. They said they're looking into it but doubt I'll get anywhere

Key thing is screenshot everything and keep all the emails as if they don't pay and you give them that they do.. had a £20 last year on Lego and Vans did that on both and they paid £40 up so then bought £40 Lego Gift cards via Amazon used them to but £90 sets with £20 on £80 groupon which has paid, and now used on £50.89 order with groupon £10 on £40.. think you get the circle you can get into.. key is keep all the documents.

My £10 on £40 just paid straight after Lego invoice...i also used my VIP code for wonders of world set and paid £50.98 in total mixture of gift cards and credit card. it does seem pot luck if they pay on shipment or have to wait 120 days. (edited)
