Received the sim, registered on EE and states the full price, but I have read if the bill is produced within first 7 days it doesn't have any discounts on, so maybe it may be discounted. Also will be billed on 10/03/2023 so that's within 14 days, so if they do charge me, I'd just cancel and feta refund
Unfortunately, this deal has expired 28 February 2023.

- There is always 14 days to cancel but it clearly says 24 months with a monthly cost of £0.00
- So heres my update.
i got my sim, came through today.
according to the executive complaint rep, i spoke to. She took my email down. And its been passed up the chain and wait for a response, though she did try to push me to cancel. I didnt..
ive been told ill be contacted via email or a phone call some point next week or the week after to advise on if itll be at £0.00.
normally, if we (ee and the customer) cant make an agreement. It would be referred to the ombudsman pretty much straight away.
i asked, what happens if the 14 days pass, and noone reaches out. Can i still cancel without a charge. I was told, theres no more information she can provide, either wait or cancel. If i countered either, pretty sure it would have been deadlock.
im going to give it till the end of the week, and might follow up myself, might go through deadlock, if nothing comes about end of the week.thanks for the reply so at least one did actually get through theres probably more out there that haven't posted
interesting that they want you to cancel but it will go beyond the 14 days period so be prepared for that they are still probably hoping you will cancel and will make sure it passes the 14 days by delaying any response to you.
I'm not sure what i'd do in your position because the contract was for 0 i think they are in a stronger position than if it had been 5 or 10. If you do want to fight this you will have to pay the 23 or 31 payment each month until its resolved.4
keep us posted if you don;t mind as it'll be interesting how ee deals with this for any future price glitch that might be found. - Can I port my ee number to thisYou'd have to port it elsewhere first and then back into EE. Easiest is giffgaff
- Email confirmation says £0 but shows this in the app after taking this plan! The plan cost always shows in full there, then you will have a section that shows any discounts
This is in my add-ons for a different SIM I already have:
Maybe check yours (edited) - Just to update who hasn’t received any updates or texts from Ee, I called them just now and they said your order and all the £0 orders have been canceled due to error in system. Even though you haven’t had any text or email from them, they are not going to honour it.Should be interesting to see what happens to the customers who can see an additional line added to their account but not received the SIM yet.
- Glitch squad assemble
- This won't be free after 31 March 2023What's 14% of £0?
- No longer available
- Here's a question (since I've never been quick enough to pounce on a glitch before), if the glitch/deal isn't honoured how will I know? You won’t have a SIM card in the post.
- The contacted price is £0 per month that's what we all have agreed to. If they charge you full price they are in breach of contract.
- Just a bit of contractual help to all, I had a brief call with EE today regarding this, the stance they have is that if you have not recieved a second email confirming your order, no contract is formed and they dont have to honour the price, as per the below terms and conditions. They have approached the ombudsman and confirmed this.
However, if you did recieve a second email confirming your order, its something you should pursue as the contract will have been crystalised, even if it states the wrong price as your initial purchase was a £0 per month, which you can challenge.
For the majority of us, my assumption would be we recieved order acceptance but not confirmation, you win some you lose some, on to the next
T&C Below
We are not obliged to accept your order. We will send you a first email letting you know that we have received yourorder. We will then check your order, which includes performing a credit check, and decide whether to accept it. Noprice, or other information displayed on our site will bind us until we have accepted your order. The price you willbe charged for any goods or services will be the price in force when your order is accepted by us. If we do acceptyour order, a contract will be created at the time we send you a second email confirming your order - BT sport doesnt show up as free, only Apple musicSlide over to the next deal. It should have the exclusive inclusive extras, hope this helps (edited)
- Pricing error confirmed. You'll all be notifiedDid you get an email?
- So yeah customer services just told me that I can only have it at £31 a month and not Zero they told me that they was now aware of the issue and was in the process of contacting people and cancelling ordersHow do they do that? Email or phone?
- Ordered and I've just confirmed via online chat that order has gone throughGone through means honour?
- Going to have to call EE, no sim has arrived but its showing in my account and on my bill. Absolutely outrageous, going to give them a ring tomorrow. Joke of a company.
- Well, mine has been added to my account
@£23/month.
Hiw does the price hold up against other deals out there? I do need a new SIM for my daughter.Take a look at the O2 sim only deals - Im sure there was a recent deal of 100gb for £12 if you're an existing virgin media customer as O2 and Virgin then double the data (for both sim only and virgin broadband) - Surely not going to honour this?No but they will give you a hard search on your credit file which might affect you getting credit, it's unlikely one hard search will effect you but if there are multiple in a short space of time then that certainly will.
- Read the terms and Conditions as it's not free it's just an error on the website
In the contract part it will say the actual price and you could be stuck in a contract for 24monthsRead the contract, the plan name is the real amount, but the total says £0.00pm - it is showing two 125gb plans - both are showing 0. which one to choose? One comes with Netflix/apple music etc
- Pre contact information -What does that even mean lol
- All I have on my account is the early repayment fees as credit.. and nothing else.. just the email to say that I placed an order.. any one able to track their order..?Other than the email they first sent the only thing I see when I try to track it on the app is this
- Curious if everyone ordered via Hukd link and that's linked to cancellations? I ordered directly and no cancellation so farUsed link and no cancel
- Why is it taking so long to send a cancellation text ?If you’re in the same boat as me it’s probably worth checking your account- mine showed the new number and their hope to charge me £23 a month. I have already completed the 14 day cancellation request. The only correspondence I had was the order confirmation email. (edited)
- Mines not been cancelled yet but had a bill generate today, confirmed charged at full pricewell it confirms acceptance of the order, confirmation email states £0.00 - surely a win situation in this case?
- I am waiting on notification that sim has been despatched. Although the price shows as £31 in my plan details, I am taking hope from the fact that it says 'total does not include discounts'. Would like to see what first bill will be, hopefully before 14 day cooling offOn the previous page of comments, Chubzilla has had a bill generated and no discount was shown or applied :-/
- Same cancellation text this morning. On phone to EE, I feel explaining it was too good to true and negotiating a better contract deal is the way forward.
Got 250gb for £18 a month. Can’t complain. Better deal than before.Did you have to enter a new contract or is it 30 day rolling? - Got this text this morning, so the net result of this ordeal is that I can get out of my previous contract for free which is a bit of a result.Same!
- Gutted i missed this! Deal of the year surelyAll orders were cancelled unfortunately, so you didn’t miss out after all!
- People phoning the company of a glitch ...
We've raised a community of snowflakes 🤦🏼♂️ - Why are people even contacting customer services.
Just wait for a email, some people shooting themselves in the foot. 🤡 - No credit check for me and order confirmed and charged 1p so I'm going to cancel it nowSo why order it then?
- I got a similar glitch off EE last August.
I waited until the tablet was delivered and then I rang EE to get them to honour the deal.Did they honour it?
Placed an order and it went through. Let’s see how it goes 🤞🏼- lol this won't get honoured hahahahWhat a strange comment.
- This is a pricing error and EE will never honour it
So no point getting all excited . - This is OP's first deal in 10 years and it's a stonker 🔥🔥AuthorHaha actually it's the first deal I've ever posted ️ ️, let's just hope they honour it ey 🤞🏼
- Ordered 50 SIMs for eBay but just phoned EE & they said it’s a glitchPeople like you to that let the deal not get it honoured
