How do these size up and how good in the rain are they ? (edited)

as per reviews, people recommends you buy a size up and it is only water resistant not entirely water proof though

You can't see it in the picture, but when this isn't zipped up there is a bright red line that goes all the way up alongside the zip.

My hot water tank looks great in his. He has the red one.

Are these the ones posted recently that don’t have insulation up the sides?

    Seems like it.

It definitely looks better on the invisible man than it does on those models

    got mine the other day

Like people say size up, its slim fit which is fine with a tshirt on, but if you have a jumper on it can be tight.

Received one last week for around the same price. Great jacket but definitely size up. Its good enough for the weather now 8 to 10 degrees, much lower and I don't think it would be quite enough but that's dependant on personal threshold of course (edited)

Got it last week and really like it, great in the wind.

I am normally a medium but got size up based on reviews and was right to do so. It's slim fitting

I have one of these - great jacket for use in normal temperature ranges this time of the year, and as others have said I find the sizing is on the small side. I would say go one size up at least, possibly even two sizes up if you like a slightly less restrictive fit.

Mine came today , I sized up , perfect snug fit with a sweatshirt on , nicely fitted item .
Does seem to leak a few feathers tho .
Either way I'm happy with it for £83

    (L) is £110, cheaper elsewhere

Was £83 so must have gone up

Just received mine and it is going straight back. Seems like either most of the down fill has escaped or the jacket never had much down to begin with.

It’s the design. It’s not like a puffa type jacket style.

Worn it for a week, pockets get stuck all the time, and coat smells when been in rain and had a lot of down feathers coming out regularly , returned , looked nice though ..

That's a real shame, maybe a bad batch. I bought one a few weeks ago and don't have any of the issues you noted
