DDR4 LINK: palicomp.co.uk/int…ld1
DDR5 LINK: palicomp.co.uk/int…ac9

What we have here is the original hellfire at £999.99 with a new booster for a 13400F B760 DDR4 3600mhz ram for £110.00**, and ive preselected the Bequiet Air cooler and selected the S70 1TB NVME with faster read/writes, that gives a total of £1175.00 ( or £160** instead and that gives 32GB DDR4 for £50 more) then u have the options on-site to select the higher PSU above the EVGA 650W Gold --> Gigabyte 750W "V2"" or 850W Corsair.

Opening the new link for the DDR5 starts at £1199.99 under the 750W PSU, but I've chosen the bequiet cooler at £40 so the ddr5 RTX3070 version which makes it at £1239.99 and has boosters for the higher GPU now.

Extra Trick: due to the promo on the original hellfire exchanges the 12400f into 13400F via a package, the prices on the cpu at the bottom are off, easiest way to calc remove the gap in the cpu from 12400F -> 13400F from the gap to the alt CPU u desire and ask for it or compare it from the ddr5 cpu range.

Palicomp has got the 7600X DDR5 version here at £1275.00 AMD Best Buy
+225 3080 from this link and steel the giga psu too. making it £1525.00

    650W to GIGABYTE 750W 80+ GOLD
    3070 -> 3080 £225
*ram on this one could be better for the DDR5, but non the less price reflections, so pitch em.

Presume "new" u mean new am5, and not just new ideas on ryzen, as we do have other ideas using older generations 5800X3d

These nasty pre-builds are always amusing.

Although I still don't quite get why some had to take my original comment seriously enough to reply to, I did act like a bit of a numpty in this thread and a bad day at work is a pretty poor excuse. So my apologies to those I replied to and offended here.

The original links: 12400F/3070/16Gb/Windows/Gamemax £999.99 - not available anywhere else for the price.
has new options which make it a deal vs anywhere else. - gone through them.

a brand new line: INTEL VORTEX 13400F/16GB/DDR5 £1199.99 - not available anywhere else for cost.
    + gone though options.

if u think u can beat it, say so, how n where.

update: palicomp has updated the DDR5 link to inc the 3080/4070ti, so u dont need to backdoor it now.

This is basically what I did a couple of weeks ago.

Hellfire, keep the case, upgrade to 13400f with mb and ram upgrade, negotiated on the be quiet rub cooler, upgraded to rtx4070ti, I upgrade to s70 nvme, and upgraded psu.

Psu out of stock so negotiated free upgrade to 850 be quiet. Negotiated free mb change from b760m to b760 plus on basis that cooler could be got from eltswhere for 40 quid not their 60 quid upgrade fee.

    Came to around 1600.

Works a treat though I have a minor problem with the gpu 'copy' causing stuttering on even non intensive games and occasional severe dips on gpu performance that aren't predictable on when they happen, but once it starts is identical as it continues. (edited)

    @thelaine

    Guide:

So the opening link for the DDR5 is this one here: palicomp.co.uk/int…ac9
    13400F/3070/16GB-5200/Gamemax/750W 1199.99

for this one to be boosted to RTX4070Ti, keep the default link as "3070"
Add this link into the same basket: RTX3070 to RTX4070TI 12GB

    £1199.99 link + 350 link
    makes this:

    49755800-DUO9D.jpg
now for my prices on the o/p ive taken the £1199.99 link into £1239.99 as ive included the Bequiet Cooler as standard before adding to checkout.

and the price of the +13600F is £145 (oem 13400F to retail 13600k trade) which is within the CPU selection on the 1199.99 link.

    hope that helps.
    thelaine's avatar
    Ok so
    1199 link
    + 40 be quite cooler
    + 145 13600f
    + 115 32gb ddr5 5200
    + 350 4070ti upgrade
    Total 1849

    Which seems correct to me.
Would you pitch anything in after sales on this?

Is the upgrade to RTX 4080 for +£700 worth it?
    mr_hercules's avatar
Might be wrong but wasn't the RTX 4070 Ti originally called RTX 4080? Then nobody bought it so they renamed it and knocked 100 dollars off the price?

(So is the RTX 4080 just old stock and exactly equivalent to current RTX 4070 Ti?) (edited)

What options did u pick as the £110/160 DDR4 13400F options are the cheapest.
And the DDR5 Boards is recently new on the entry line "riptide for the DDR5

    just seen -> hotukdeals.com/com…428

what was ur pitched total u got for it? (edited)

Looking at this as I decided I may want to just go for it with something well beyond what I actually need.

    You have the 4070ti ddr5 for 1589.

When I add it all it's over 1800.
Also, you mention about the CPU upgrade to the 13600?
    What should that system be?
    4070ti
    Ddr5 16gb
    13600f

How does returns work these pre-builds? Obviously, you don't want to be sending it back with all your data on it. Do you people just removed the storage or fully wipe and send it back? (edited)
    sarden84's avatar
    Author
Depends on seller's terms and conditions.

if it's a large place like Currys, then everything would have to be returned, so ull have to use data software to protect your information further than a typical method of deleting personal files,, should u never want people to obtain ur personal information u have.

    currys/argos/very are resellers.

if its a custom builder, u could talk to them about keeping that item and agree to a fee i presume. (edited)

You can get a better deal. sarden only states the obvious.

Got this system recently via negotation directly , including a free upgrades to 850w psu, 1tb sn70 sdd + £54 (usually £108) extra for the 3year collect warranty, w11pro, mic, webcam, cable tidy, 5xgames, sd card reader, tuning, q-jump
    SirDromaius's avatar
Did you email them first to negotiate or did you order the basic one and then negotiate upgrades with post sales from there?
  12. davidbrent's avatar
Hey Sarden, is the best prebuilt I could get right now for max £2k budget please? What upgrades would you go for for this budget? My musthaves are audio optical connection, WiFi capability, need Windows, need it to look good with Alienware 38 monitor. If you could point me in right direction please, it would be much appreciated. (edited)

Trying to figure out extension cables, some are 300W, 600W 1800W, 3200W, most dont say though which is a worry but wondering if it matters. But alwasy a worry if u were to plug something like this into it, so thought i would check.

    amazon.co.uk/dp/…333

One of the Q&A's say he has a 2.5kw heater plugged into it, and his is ok. no idea how this compares to desktops power usage though, assuming a heater is more but thought i would check.

Tldr: is it safe to plug desktops into extension cables. And what do you need to check for? (edited)
