Well I have it and am happy with it, I wanted an iPhone with decent battery life which isn't too heavy and this fitted the bill. There have been diminishing returns with technology improvements in recent years, I can't really notice the difference between this screen and the Pro in general use.

On a serious note, big apple fan here used iPhone for years now, but recently got pixel for under 200 and honestly can’t see any difference in terms of any negative traits or compromises. Apple phones used to be circa 500, technology gets cheaper not more expensive, u only have to look at the oled and qled fall in prices or even laptops, furthermore my iPhone 12 and friends 14 side by side look identical and function identically in every day normal text WhatsApp and google.

Very good phone. Battery life is phenomenal, the screen is pants. Camera is as always very good except in low light conditions where it struggles a lot. They should really consider dropping their prices as the phone does not offer any real value over their competitors.
