I haven't done one of these in a while, and some prices have dropped on some models, so thought now was the perfect time, some grade C thrown in below as they're tremendous prices, but please note these are the lowest grades, but i have had luck with some grade c in the past, so don't be put off fully, note also some are network locked, some unlocked, also note CeX offer a 2 year warranty:

I have had the Realme X50 Pro 5G for a while now and it's been a great handset. The P30 Pro is still one of the greatest phones of all time. My wife has that and it's on Android 12 now and it's still one of the best phone cameras that has ever been. Some really good deals here 🏻
    Crossbow's avatar
The P30 Pro's EMUI version is definitely 12, but the Android base version is still only 10 in reality androidupdatetracker.com/p/h…pro
You can install the AIDA64 app on your wife's phone to confirm this play.google.com/sto…=US
For a Mar2019 phone, still receiving security/software updates (if not 'upgrades') almost 4 years later is great!

Btw, I'm on the EMUI 12.0.0.146 Dec22 update, while the 12.0.0.149 Feb2022 one is out but my phone hasn't yet received it.
I'm experiencing the main camera blur issue mentioned here huaweicentral.com/hua…-1/, hopefully sorted by the latest update as mentioned...
    • Huawei has released a new software update for the P30 Pro flagship with version 12.0.0.149 and it comes with February 2023 security patch for improved system safety. While, users of this phone want to fix the blur issue that is occurring on the main camera of the flagship

Not sure about purchasing something with an in-built rechargeable battery that has been used multiple times before.
    Crossbow's avatar
If you buy a secondhand phone & find the battery is knackered or unacceptable you can have it replaced. Also use a battery health app like AccuBattery to confirm.
It's relatively inexpensive in most cases to buy a new replacement from eBay - make sure it's listed as brand new & from a UK-based seller so it arrives quickly.
Then have it fitted by your local/nearest phone repair shop - they charge around £20 labour for this & can usually be done within an hour if they are not too busy, or pre-book a suitable time slot with them. Might also be a good idea to ask if they will fit a battery supplied by you, as not all will do. So do a little research before buying, etc. (edited)

Good price for Xiaomi 11T Pro
Update to Android 13 should be available.

If previous owner reports phone lost/stolen after you've bought it Cex will not refund. They will tell you you've been the victim of a crime and to report it to police. I would never buy a phone from them. liverpoolecho.co.uk/new…853

Little tip: Always buy Dual SIM pre-owned phones. Companies usually only ever blacklist IMEI 1, which leaves SIM Slot 2 free to use if they do become blacklisted.

Waiting for xiaomi 13 pro from cex
    LuckyIori's avatar
I'm also waiting for the Xiaomi 13 series to get onto CEX but I have to say that the S23 Ultra is a better all-round package. Better front camera that supports 4K 60fps, S23 Ultra also has USB 3.2 I think or 3.1 whilst all Xiaomi phones are still stuck on USB 2.0

Big thumbs up for my daily driver being on this deal.

Poco F3 in Artic White is a lovely phone for less than £200. Well worth it.

Do cex have returns policy where if you don't like or change your mind you can return for full refund?
    DirtyQwerty's avatar
If you buy online you have the same 14 days to return as you do anywhere else

Astonishing price for the P40 Pro, talk about holding it's value. What a superb piece of kit it is and should have been as legendary as the Mate 20 Pro and P30 Pro.
  14. Cloudane's avatar
OnePlus 7 still a great phone, I sold mine for a Nord CE 5G recently and the 7 was equally fast (if not actually a bit faster) and better built. And 5G in my experience / area is no faster or better coverage than 4G.
  15. hellop4nda's avatar
if only there was anything that rivals the £200 Pixel 6a deals Google was running a while back.. I'm looking for a phone with half-decent specifications that is going to last a while from a security update standpoint, but can't seem to find anything sub-£200.
    uklemons's avatar
my guess - wait - patience is a virtue - there is always the next deal!

think of it this way - the pixel 6a is to small even if you want a tesla cpull! (edited)

Bit on the black shark 2 (c grade for 129) that you have now removed (presumably because I bought it) and it's immaculate barring a tiny deep scratch in the top corner that can't even be even when the screen is on and scrapes around the charging port, enabling me to have a fully fledged gaming phone for my geforce now and gamepads needs. The legend of the switchy continues!

    Thanks mate!

I wish Xiaomi would make the Mi Max 4. I do like a large screen and the OH now wants a Mi Max 3 (the same as mine) as her Mi Max 2 hasn't had an update for a while and some apps don't work with it.
There's a few new ones on ebay but from China, there's also son pre-owned too from UK, I might just have to get her one of those..
    Proveright's avatar
I am with you. I have Mi Max 3 and it is a brilliant phone. For me the most important part of a phone is the size of the screen. I don't understand why all these other manufacturers, charging a lot more money don't make phones with wide screens like the MiMax?
If anyone knows any new phones with screens like the MiMax size please post?

    • A - Mint - These products must be in mint/new condition. The product must be immaculate; if it is not then it is unfortunately not deemed as an A grade. All accessories means everything that would have originally come in the box. These must be official and the same condition as the product. These items also require their original box and inserts.
    • B - Good - Product in good condition with all essential accessories. No box required.
    • C - Working - Product in poor condition and fully working with all essential accessories. No box required.
    • F - Non-Working - (Applicable for select Phones only). Product must be intact and not crushed, bent, or snapped. Must pass our IMEI check. No accessories required. All Apple products must have their iCloud account deactivated and Android v5.1+ devices must have Google Accounts removed.
F - Non-Working Examples: Dead, cracked (screen, body, bezel etc.), water damage, broken/bleeding LCD (screen), not powering up, speaker/mic faults, broken aerial, etc.

    I don't think the below

    REDMAGIC

    RED MAGIC 6 PRO (16GB+256GB) Silver, Unlocked B - £475

    is a good deal.

Because for £100 more you can buy the Red Magic 8 Pro (12GB+256) that got a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 cpu for better performance, better screen, better cameras, better everything, as it is 2 generations newer, in BRAND NEW condition directly from the official store with FREE UK delivey.
