What are the benefits of Soy Protein Isolate?
Soy Protein Isolate is an excellent source of protein for those following a plant-based diet, and supports all types of fitness ambitions, as protein supports the growth and maintenance of muscle.1

Made from defatted soy beans, using an innovative process to make sure that it’s low-fat and low-sugar — it’s perfect for increasing protein intake without adding unwanted extra calories.

Who should take Soy Protein Isolate?
Our Soy Protein Isolate is ideal for anyone looking to increase their intake of protein, without wanting the hassle or calories of protein-heavy meals.

We especially recommend this protein powder to anyone following a plant-based lifestyle, since getting enough protein into a vegan diet can be tricky and time-consuming.

What does Soy Protein Isolate taste like?
Our protein powders are not only created to offer great nutritionals, but also to taste amazing in shakes. That's why we've developed a range of flavours for our Soy Protein Isolate.

Simply choose your favourite from our selection, which includes Chocolate and Matcha, and enjoy a delicious shake that helps you hit your daily requirements. We also have Unflavoured if you’d rather add it to your own smoothies or baking.

    Anyone tried this before?

I've tried some of the flavoured soy isolates. Taste is bad (strong tofu vibe), poor mixability, and thick like casein. I'd buy it if I was low, but would much rather a good whey. It's not the sort of thing you can mix 2 scoops of in half a litre of water and expect to end up with a drink though, so be prepared to use creatively.

I use this all of the time but mixed in to porridge. It's a really good protein to calorie ratio which is why I use it.
As others have said the mixability is pretty awful, but I only mix it to a paste and that works fine. It does have a bit of a grainy texture too, but again, not too much of a problem in porridge.
I think this is cheap as they've released a new formula for other flavours and may have loads of stock left for unflavoured?

How much worse is this compared to normal unflavoured (which i use)?

    Good deal.
But I've heard bad stuff about soy protein. Would stick to alternatives to be on the safer side

Great price for 2.5kg of protein but flavourless sounds a bit nasty

Mix with stuff, can get pretty good at making it drinkable, never gonna be a lovely chocolate milkshake but something healthy it can be made decent

I think I'll get a bag to extend the life of my whey powders... use 5g less whey each shake and add 5g of this instead. Worth a shot at least. Thanks OP

How do you get free delivery? Trying to order more than one but it says 3.99 for delivery at checkout and says to spend more than £45 to get free delivery

Thank you for posting OP. I bought one. I was tempted to buy a few but never had unflavoured before so stuck with one so I can see if I can handle it!

I took a chance with unflavoured whey protein. I bought some of the sugar free vanilla drops which made it perfectly drinkable.

What's the taste like compared to whey? I use unflavoured whey with plain cocoa powder, so used to a bitter taste.

I don't mind that it is thicker and grittier.

I’ve had the salted caramel soy isolate before, taste and mixability is horrific. Ended up using it in smoothies where you can overpower the flavour and mixed it with a blender.

Soy has always been considered a lower quality protein and i found mixing it and taste to be poor compared to whey, although now with cost of whey this deal is very attractive, but i just cant be dealing with the taste mix ability

Mine arrived and best by date is May 2024 so not short dated.

The packet does look like a sack of lawn feed! I will get creative if it is inedible. I'll learn one way or another if unflavoured is viable for me and this is a cheap deal to trial it.
