Goods have arrived but are in a used condition. All seals are broken and goods are clearly second-hand? Let's see what Ebuyer have to say. (edited)

Mine is also a returned item. The outer box and one of the three devices had been opened. It looks to be in perfect condition, so I'm going to give it a go, but I'm not happy to have been misled.

Can these be used in (what I think is called) bridge mode?

I.e. can I keep my current router and just have these handle the WiFi?

And if so, will the mesh capabilities be retained?

Missed this, so thinking of buying 3 individual units.
This is probably a daft question, but are all units identical? Or is one the "master" and the other are nodes? Thanks for any advice

Would this be useful in a small office set up? Say 10-20 devices connecting at the same time?

    hecatae Author
Yes, the wall mounting kit included with each unit makes it perfect for a small office setup.

Would this be a worthwhile investment over a wifi5 mesh system (I already have 3 tenda mw5) ? I will be upgrading my broadband from 150 to 300 mbps next month and not sure if something like this is needed to take full advantage?
    hecatae's avatar

Yes, if you have other wifi6 devices.

another question - anyone who has this: is the "stand" on the base of the unit part of the casing ? or can it be removed.

I will be wall mounting it, and looking at the online pics, they all show it wallmounted with the "stand"... whcih looks... "ugly"
