Not as low as it was a few months ago (£34.99) but still decent if you play games on android.

  • CLOUD GAMING COMPATIBLE With the reality of playing AAA versions on any screen, having the controller connected to your device provides a convenient form factor and portable enough to play anywhere.

note here if you have the s22 ultra or s23 ultra you will need the V2 Kishi otherwise they will not for, additionally they have changed the design of the V2 as below

This no longer works on Xbox cloud gaming for me (it's not the Xbox branded Kishi but it used to). The error code I had suggested something to do with the version of Android I was running, which wasn't the latest. It may well still work for you just sharing my experience (edited)
    DonAndy's avatar
I have both the Xbox branded one and the android version and as of yesterday afternoon the android version worked on Xbox Cloud/ Remote gaming.

The "Kishi for Android (Xbox xCloud)" version is available at the same price:

Now further reduced to £36.53 (a saving of 46p)...

How does it work for emulation?
    rio600's avatar
I love my Kishi, works brilliantly with all my emulators! I use it to play Gamecube/Wii (Dolphin emu), PS2 (AetherSX2) and PSP (PPSSPP) games. I have a Oneplus Nord CE 5G 12GB RAM + 256GB storage phone. I do have to remove my tpu silicone phone cover each time I use it but that doesn't bother me.

Bought this before, looked amazing on paper but none of the games I play supported it, my fiber optic internet can't even handle Xbox cloud gaming, was a laggy stuttery mess.
and the buttons felt quite cheap and flimsy. Ended up returning it. But thumbs up because it's a great price
    nobbynuts's avatar
I have full fibre bt internet. Cloud gaming is great on mine. And I run 2 servers in the same internet

I have the iOS version and annoying paid £80 for it back in the day, it supports ps5 remote play which is what I got it for
    shakerstevens's avatar
Don't be too annoyed - the iOS version is £99.99 right now on Amazon !

Love this little controller. Yes, it's annoying if you come out of the games or the I UX designed for controllers, but it's amazing for games, and it doesn't need charging. I've been playing MS Cloud games on it and Diablo 4 mobile for months. I would not pay full price, but for this price and casual gaming is great.

I have this from when it was £27 at the BT shop. It's decent enough considering what I paid for it, but I personally find the thumbsticks a little too stiff to be taken seriously for stuff like FPS games, but it's absolutely fine for casual gameplay in other genres. In every respect it's a big upgrade from awful touch screen controls found in console ports.

Just be warned that game compatibility on Android is smaller than it is on iOS. It'll work on a lot of the big games, but not on CoD Mobile or even Genshin Impact.

Any deals on the iOS version ?
    EQL's avatar
There are some "Used - Very Good" without description for £53.38 or "Used - Like New" for £56.83. Not that great

Anybody able to confirm if this works with steam?
    amillstone's avatar
You mean SteamLink? If so, yes.
  11. dudwood_fudwood's avatar
Great controller. Since owning this I've been tempted to buy another cheap phone to leave in the controller. With xbox gamepass and the Steam link app it makes an incredible handheld. Lying on the sofa playing Uncharted remotely was great.
  12. karlcleaver's avatar
I previously got this at £33.49. Was good but annoying having to constantly take phone out of case to use it. Ended up returning it due to getting fold 4 a month later
    118luke's avatar
Same here, did you get a controller for your fold?
  13. Zhi_Wing's avatar
Cheers for the headsup - I didn't get it last time on sale.

Controller on a phone, not such a bright idea, kind of defeats the whole purpose doesn't it?
    Kako_Ponga's avatar
Like if you like to play to shooters and games, emulators that's would be a nice gadget, but iPega is making this from more time that razer, check iPega if you want a better a more cheap controller for your mobile, me I'm using for play PSP and Switch in my mobile
  15. Tyler.Halifax's avatar
Not compatible with Samsung Flip 4 I see... otherwise would have got this!
  16. bobdylan's avatar
This works great on Reckless Racing
  17. Rizzzzzzywow91's avatar
I have the iOS version (paid £57 in 2021). I usually use it for XCloud and it works fine but the sticks have a higher engagement point than I would like and the triggers feel soft. But it's overall good solid controller for your smartphone. I would recommend buying a carry case for it too
  18. amillstone's avatar
Got this when it was £35 a few months ago and absolutely love it.

Fits my phone well (although I do have to take the case off) and is basically a plug and play device. No need for any setup.

I use it mainly for remote play from my PS4 (for which you'll need Chiaki or PS Play for instead of the official app), but Xbox remote play and SteamLink work great too.
  19. Kaan_Oezden's avatar
does it work with Pixel 7a?
    Lighters's avatar
Im wondering the same for pixel 7!

Edit - it might be perfect or tight!

    • supported dimensions
    • 145.3 – 163.7 mm x 68.2 - 78.1 mm x 7.0 - 8.8 mm) - Please check that your mobile is included in the above mentioned list.
    • 155.6 x 73.2 x 8.7 mm (6.13 x 2.88 x 0.34 in) from GSM pixel 7

Brilliant controller. Use it on my phone to play Gamepass with xcloud. Plus the emulators
  21. designer_friend's avatar
Will this fit an oppo X5?
  22. Neostar's avatar
Does anyone know if this would fit a Xiaomi 12T Pro?

I thought “backbone” was the thing now
    BeefyMcWhatNow's avatar
I sold my Kishi V2 and was looking for alternatives as the Pixel 7 Pro camera bar make it difficult to fit, but I went with the GameSir X2 Pro over the backbone
  24. Funkmeister_'s avatar
Nice controller but really bad app. Unfortunately, Razer has decided to make a new app for the V2 controller that works better but doesn't support the V1. No touch control support or firmware updates. Other than that the controller works flawlessly with emulation, cloud gaming and certain mobile games like Dead Cells and Minecraft.
    EN1GMA's avatar
theres an app for the joypad? wut?
  25. Moody_Cloud's avatar
Bought it even though I don't think I'll use it yet

It shouod be awesome if and when I can be bothered to set up emulators on my phone
  26. helal94's avatar
This is great. The only complaint is the left shoulder button doesn’t go as deep as you’d want it (but still useable), due to the left analog being underneath.
  27. Robert_Pickup's avatar
I bought one for a tenner ages ago, have hardly used it, but now playing on a steam deck, so never gets any play time.

Was good though, my daughter loved playing Roblox and Genshin Impact with it! (edited)
  28. slayermatt's avatar
Had a quick play with mine yesterday. Played some Forza over Xcloud and some Dinkum via Steam link. Bit awkward getting used to the form factor, and it *barely* fits my Poco F3 (without a case) but it does work really well. Can feel the latency difference vs when I playing Forza with my 8bitdo Bluetooth.

Still wouldn't pay RRP for it mind you

My oppo find x2 pro just about fits. Just tried GTA VC & Asphalt 8 on android. Seems pretty decent so far. Fingers crossed that PS5 remote play works alright
  30. thehulkuk's avatar
Hi guys, is it possible to put my phone in this and use both together, a controller with display with additional functionality to play games on my tablet. Is there an app for that?
  31. smilerstradwick's avatar
Received mine and used it briefly but getting a small lag when streaming games using wither Xbox app or Geforce now. However it does seem fine when playing Stardew Valley which is installed on my phone. Anyone else experience any lag?
    amillstone's avatar
The lag is due to your connection or the server, not the Kishi itself.
  32. Superunknown95's avatar
Anyone used an honor magic5 pro with this?
