As an unidentified virus sweeps the country, the Korean government declares martial law to stem the chaos. Busan is rumoured to have fended off the virus outbreak and remains the only beacon of hope for those not yet infected. But when the virus breaks out on an express train to Busan, the passengers on board must fight for their own survival.
Then in the animated prequel, as the sun sets around Seoul Station, runaway Hae-sun witnesses the emergence of zombie attacks while her father and boyfriend desperately search for her. The station is locked down, leaving the uninfected to struggle against the dangerous undead with no place to run to, not knowing if they will survive.
Picking up four years later, Jung-seok, a soldier who previously escaped relives the horror when given a covert operation on the quarantined peninsula. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best-or worst-of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances

sorted byPeninsula was just terrible garbage. And I'm not some hyperbolic cynic or anything either, it really is just an awful, ridiculous movie and it's such a painful followup after how great Train to Busan was. I know people will watch it out of curiosity but I do promise anybody who is on the fence that it is entirely worth saving your time and avoiding it.
