Great offer, heat given....

Not the longest ever though, I'm still benefitting from the Barclaycard 0% for the "life of the balance" rate they did about 10-12 years ago, which I doubt will ever be repeated unfortunately.

Very good thanks

Recently received Virgin credit card with 29 months free on balance transfer with 3% fee. Also, I was told that it is easier to get this card at the moment.

is this available to existing customers?

anyway of transferring store cards and loans onto this?

Store cards yes should be easy, loans wouldn't have though so. The only way you could do is transfer a balance off a card with no debt on it which places the card in credit. Then request from the issuing card to withdraw the money as you are in credit to pay off the loan.

The mbna card is also fantastic. 31 months at 2.89% and 4% for money shifted to it from bank account. Also has a 3 month 0% on purchases offer but don't spend on a transfer card! I shifted some debt to get it cheaper and got an 8 grand allowance though don't need a quarter of it.

I dont get these cards. if I get one and say spend 1000 on something. I wont have to pay for it for 29 months?

assumed credit limit £1200, anyone got more than that

No, you must still make a minimum payment ever month towards the balance (usually 1 percent) but it won't a cure any interest during the promotional period - 33 months in this case. Got approved for the 31 months with Barclaycard and gave me a ridiculous credit limit I didn't ask for

sorry if this sounds stupid but can I buy a car say from cargiant and effectively have 0% car finance for 3 years?

This is balance transfer card not a purchase card - so what you can do is to make payment for your new car to cargiant using another one of your credit card and then transfer balance from barclaycard to that card. That way you can have 33 months of 0% interest. Don't forget you will still be making monthly minimum repayments to barclaycard.

If you don't have another credit card then you can always go for "purchase credit cards" and buy a new car directly from the card, however purchase card 0% interest rate promotional period are not usually as long as balance transfer cards.

HTH.
