Ummmm
I doubt many hairdressers will be looking for new cars at the moment to be honest.
No warranty in year 4 and you’d be liable for MOT and any repairs etc
Downhill you’ll get the stated mpg.

Underpowered.

Can almost guarantee electrical problems.

If out of warranty get a bank loan sorted, you’ll need it for mega expensive diagnostic time, it’ll spend more time at the garage.

Slight hyperbole there me thinks!

All modern cars are very reliable, you may get a bad one, but they will be the exception rather than the rule.

You are spot on about repair bills though. I would only lease a car for as long as the warranty was covering it.
is this a joke?

Try telling that to two of my mates who've had to have new engines in their 2 year-old Discoveries. Neither would touch a LR, now.
I know tastes differ, but in my mind the only car uglier than this on the road is the Nissan Juke.

Family member works for JLR in a good blue-collar manager role.

Drives a Vauxhall as he doesn't rate JLR.
