Not forgetting the 10% deposit you have to pay

Actually looks like it's 19.9% interest if you choose to pay the £9.82. Cheapest monthly payment under 0% deal is £27.73?
Perhaps a discreet request for the mods to expire is in order?(_;)

Not sure I'd call 0% finance a good deal, is the price of the console itself cheaper than other retailers?

In today's climate, it isn't.

On things like cars - then it can be a good deal, since, due to inflation, you're technically paying less, and earning interest on the money before you hand it over.

E.g. if you pay £10000 for a car on 0% finance over 4 years, if you put the 10,000 in an ISA at 1.5% you'd earn £307 back, not taking into account inflation.

For those looking to pay in instalments at 0% you can get (for instance) a bundle with Minecraft and Forza for £299.99 at Very. Yes I know it's the dreaded Very but the price is OK and doesnt involve claiming any new account discounts or whatever.

I sign in and the 0% offer goes away - not that I'd have bought one, honest.

nothing wrong with spreading the cost with 0% as long as the console is a sensible price in the first place. just be mindful it will require a credit check and will be noted on your file but that's no biggy for most and I will certainly be having a closer look at the deals on offer. thanks OP

Just be careful buying the xbox console from here. They are buying their stock cheap because they have been opened and resealed. Apparently it is to remove bundle content. It would explain so many cheap digital download of assassins creed lately. Look out for the doubled up clear stickers.

Is this really what these guys do? Where do you get that from?

I had a dodgy xbox one with kinect assassins creed bundle and had to return. When I exchanged it, the stickers were doubled up with the underneath one cut. The paperwork inside was crumpled too. I phoned them and eventually they told me they buy from their supplier, I cant remember who they said. The supplier removes the promo products to sell on. I don't think this bundle sold well so in a way it makes sense. Its just a shame they don't tell you before you buy. It explains the manufactured date of March last year, When I only exchanged 6 weeks ago.
