Is this on everything, or are certain products excluded?
Does this work with education discount?
Can some one recommend a good macpro retina i dont mind apple refurbished?thanks
If you can't afford it why are you buying a brand known for charging far more for their hardware? It seems with Apple everyone throws their concept of value out of the window..

Apple aren't exactly known for value so as a company they can afford to offer zero percent finance.

I heard all Tim Cook wanted for xmas was a Christmas mug, don't let it be you

People buy cars, houses, washing machines, holidays on tick. Why should this be different for you?

If it's 0%, it's easier for some people to pay off in installments rather than one lump sum. If you don't like Apple, fair enough, it's difficult to knock this deal though.

I would suggest 13 inch one with at least 256 SSD, if you want to carry it around. 15 inch one is bit heavy but good for intensive tasks like video editing. So it depends what your primary need. For most task 13 inch one is just fine, but at least 256 SSD is a must.

It's free money at the end of the day, even if you can afford it.
Better sitting in your bank gaining interest than Apples

Depends on your priorities I suppose. I agree with doing it for an essential like your home or mode or transport. But a phone/laptop where you pay extra for the brand?

No wonder people are struggling with their incomes

Best to get it brand new with EDU discount - 15% + 3 year warranty.

I'm not quite sure what you're suggesting? Are you saying the iPhone 6/6S is not a real phone?

I have thanx. Do you tell people who own a Ferrari to go buy a real car? Course not. Shut the **** up then

"256 SSD is a must"... It's not a 'must', it's entirely dependent on the user's needs. If they will be using it for cloud based activities etc. then why would they need more than 128GB storage. Also, it's '256GB' not '256'.
not sure if it'll help anyone, but I used the PayPal finance option as it was the better deal a few months ago with the 14% education discount. If you have anyone in the family at uni or college they get to buy up to two items a year and if you get knocked back for their credit, a longstanding PayPal account went well in my favour! Interest is calculated monthly so you can pay more than the minimum each month, bit like a credit card.
I love Apple threads, everyone get so nowty. You'd have thought someone had posted support for ISIS.

Pre Xmas. Makes sense.
Shame they pulled the plug on their only decent value product, Ipod Classic.
worth getting the student card to get the 15% off too.. if they still do that

only works on a few macbooks etc.

totally agree 13'' . If you want Parallels for Windows at least 256 SSD as recommended. However if you can go to 512 SSD and have a five year view then 512 (like the rMBP I'm very lucky to have with XP, W7, W10 Office 365, El Cap) fabulous machine.
Feel free to ask any queries you may have (mine is from JLP with 3 year guarantee) but I have bought items from the apple store.

I thought that about mine, swapped the HDD for an SSD and its flying again. If you haven't done it already I'd really recommend it. obviously won't make it lighter, higher res, more powerful etc so it's only really useful if your happy with it otherwise

Lol dude, prepare to be torn to bits now. You just insulted something these people old dearer than their own mothers.

On topic, I thought most companies offer finance at 0%. Then again that's limited to a certain time and if you pass it they add interest so this deal would be good for some mugs. Edit: oh this is only over a year. Hmmmm. Well it's apple so similar deals for similar term from Argos and credit cards are lesser so by brand sanity distortion field.

I should talk, just got a new Apple TV and going to get the new magic keyboard.

My 2 cents is that the 256gb SSD/8gb Ram 13" retina is the sweetspot for most. 256gb will suit most people for storage for all applications and general storage for the foreseeable future (and can use external HD for large media storage). The 256gb SSD has faster read/write speeds than the 128gb SSD as well. the 8gb of ram is also more than enough for almost all, if you need more ram, then it is likely (not in all circumstances) that you would hugely benefit from the more powerful 15" version (likely being used for professional uses and need a workhorse of a laptop).

old iphones still have good value.premium models of sony, samsung cost about the same as iphone but after a year they drop in price much more than Iphones.
They always do it before Christmas, I remember when I got my last MacBook this was happening too and that was just before Christmas. If you can get the credit you may as well, I've been looking at selling mine and going for a new one and this has tempted me even more!
