Awesome deal
Getting ready to pay my one off "IN FULL" from 2018 (due by this summer). A great deal for those that can use it carefully (especially at a time like this) and ensure they have a plan to pay off in full before the 18 months is up. Remember, you must make at least the minimum payment up each month.

As @Chanchi32 points out, one of the massive advantages with this one is being able to transfer to it at any point during the 18 months without incurring a fee. You could take it out now and then every now and then when you purchase that big ticket item transfer your balance over to spread the paying off the cost. OR alternaitvely keep it permenantly maxed out (you can do this up to 95% of your credit limit), transfering back over to it after each month's minimum payment and keep you cash somewhere it's generating a return for you until the time to pay it off comes. That's a little harder to do these days though.
Lots of commemts here from the old deal. Also remember you can transfer at sny time but the months will still drop down. So transfer in 6 months and you’ll only have a year left.

Great deal. My bt finishes end of the year so hope deals like this will still be around then - we've no idea what it'll be like economically then.
I need a credit card that allows me to take money out first then I’ll move it over to Santander. Barclaycard used to offer me 1.9% transfer fee but nothing lately

Is it a specific Barclaycard. Because I have never got such money transfer offers with my Barclaycard and have had with for few years now.

Yes it’s specific. I’m looking to borrow the money to top up my mortgage by 10% to save on the interest
I applied thinking the application itself was the soft search! I only realised when it said we will let you know in 2 days time if you have been successful, at which point I thought this doesnt sound like a soft search :D.

Thanks OP, hopefully I'm accepted.

Application was very straight forward and easy, only got asked how many credit cards & total monthly cost for these, along with any loans, and finally how much mortgage / rent I pay.

Have a look on their app. I always have these offers available but don’t know if it’s account specific
Santander are way too slow. Placed my order on 2nd and still haven't heard if I've been accepted or rejected

Seriously? You've given them Friday and some portion of Thursday. Given that and the current climate I'd patiently wait to hear back. Fingers crossed for you it gets approved.
