Try this

They used to give £90 cashback off contracts but this could works out to be better in the long run.

Same for students as well. I think the discount only applies to the air time not the handset part of the contract tho.

Other people don't spend 6 months of the year in a war zone !

Not on iphone 5s yet is it

Emergency services get discount with some providers also just ask when you go in store.
30% is a decent deal but surely it should be more like 50%, still not enough done for our armed forces, veterans & emergency service workers!

i believe this is a very generous offer as Vodafone offer 20%,regarding not enough being done for the armed forces, veterans and emergency services you choose for that to be your occupation no one forces you to do it and I believe the pay is very generous for all those occupations, I can understand if someone from the armed forces or a veteran gets injured they deserve more from the government or other organisation but emergency services get a good pay more then a lot of people out there so please don't say not enough is being done.

this is funny 50% off for me and 20% off for teachers doctors NHS and others but not office people because they have access to their phonrs

There's no logic to this. Discounts for squaddies? Do they not get paid? And doctors? Consultants on £250k?

Cold. Just phoned up and was refused the discount.

What's that got to do with it.Last time I looked our boys got paid for what they do and last time I looked they had a choice in what career they wanted. Its not a job I'd do but neither would I want to be a crab fisherman(statistically the most dangerous job) or a fireman or policeman but if that's what you want to go then that's gone.I work with a few ex army lads and they've said they feel a little embarrassed at all the OTT love-in we have for our armed forces in this country. They said if you want to honour anybody with discounts, freebies etc do it for the ww2 veterans because they got pittance to what we get today and they didn't have the choices we take for granted.Like I said I appreciate our armed forces but I also appreciate our nurses, police and many others far too numerous to mention but at the end of the day if u don't like your job then leave and look for something better.

Sorry about some of the predictive text which by the way can kiss my ask

don't those on 13k also get all meals and have no accomodation, bills to pay for so are comparable to those on a much higher wage in other industries where 50% if not more goes on travel to work, accommodation, rates and other bills...

not voted either way on this deal.

Vodafone do a friend and family discount for over 200 industries though too off line rental so worth a look

you choose to do the job if your job involves going to Germany that's your job you get paid for it,you don't have to do the job if you don't want to. I can understand it is a hard job but again that is the carrier you choose

crap anway! I get 30 percent on friends and family but now they have split the contract between handset and minutes etc the discount is not on the handset which is about 70 percent of the total monthly price anyway.

mrwhitelabel, my response is a little late however you appear to be very mis-informed. Soldiers do pay for food and accommodation and always have. Un married soldiers pay for food like anybody else would in a canteen with cash out of their pockets, accommodation is deducted at source from wages. Married soldiers pay for housing and council tax from source.

They actually pay for their accomodation and food
