£0.69 .com domain from Go Daddy

Not the world's favorite site but luckily domains are one thing you can set and forget. And at 69p it would be mad not to take it.

(Not sure if this includes the 11p ICANN fee?)

Am I missing something here bud? I need a new domain, was with Go Daddy previously, however when I have checked 5 domain types (.com) they are all showing £1.99 first year, £9.99 second year with no basket discount.

I appreciate it may be something I am doing wrong.

Lowest I seem to manage to get it down to is £1.11 but that's only for a year with no extras. After a year it renews at the then renewal price.

It's £0.69 a Month

Thats £8.28 a year? £9.24 if VAT is excluded.

YMMV. I've just got out of a years hosting with godaddy and their shared hosting is B*ll*cks. Quick as treacle and very poor support.
That being said, the OP is right. 70p for a dot com is cool. Remember the devil is in the detail

Endless hassle with godaddy...all for saving a few quid at the start. Lots of downtime, support (aka sales staff) useless, comcast emails still blocked( after 2 years). Could go on, but life is too short. Avoid.

This is hawt

What site do people recommend for domain and website build/manage for an ecommerce site? Not fussed about saving a few quid as long as service is good

Paragon internet groups cloud/cluster platform seems ok, They have 3 different brands with slightly different pricing/limits, using it via their TSOhost brand to host a few sites after I couldn't be bothered to maintain my own VPS for that purpose anymore.

doesn't work for me, goes from 69p plus 11p icann fee to 1.99 plus 6.99 for a second year ..
