she will love you forever wish i could get something like this from my hubby

Get her a £100 Diamonique ring from QVC .....it will look exactly the same

Must be really cheap quality, there's no way you can get 1ct for that price! My is just over one, and it's not the top quality, still cost over 7000!

your right the one i gor 0.75 carat , si1, colour G , cut excellent , the was £4500 , so this must be a con

This would never retail at £5997, however it's a fair price for what it is.

It should say Marketplace Seller as it is NOT Amazon selling it

It's cheap because it's I/SI1.
Diamonds graded I look awful! Once you spot the inclusion you'll not be able to look at the ring without seeing it!

you have an si1? LOL

the ring you bought should have cost about £3500/£3000 not £4500 you were ripped off.

silly prices above, try TJC.

0.99 ct is NOT the same as 1ct. Yes they look almots the same, but will never have the same value at sale time, or in the future. Dont fall for it!

I must also add SI1 isnt that great either. Why not buy something smaller but of higher quality?

SIlly people paying huge prices for diamonds, it's a scam, they are common, google it.

oh dear, you could have got a flight to hong kong and had a weeks holiday and paid maybe a 1/3 for a better ring/etc

friend bought their wife a ring 1.25ct 18cgold/maybe also 24cgold+platinum for £1800 about 12 years ago....similar ring in a uk jewellers that was smaller and poorer quality was £9K lol.....and if you think HK jewellers are sheds run by sharks then you are a total muppet

GIA certified?

If you guys are spending £5000 on RINGS, what the hell are you doing on HUKD? This site is for people with money sense.....

12 years ago?!?! You do realise prices have changed A LOT since then!

I agree that the diamond isn't the best quality, but you can generally only notice this when comparing closely with other diamonds.
Looking at bluenile.co.uk, the price for this size diamond is actually quite good - a 95 point diamond, with similar or less spec starts from over 2k, not including the actual ring, so £1799 is a good price (not sure what prices would be in places like Hatton Gardens, don't see them being able to do much cheaper)
