Sunny Beach is basically the most expensive place in Bulgaria. It's OK for a little trip but there isn't much there. A couple of really nice restaurants.
The beach isn't great, the sand is filled with millions of cigarette butts but I have no idea if that is normal in other European beaches. (edited)

Don't forget the Russian run prostitutes. Very pretty but the gangster pimp will be watching every move. Don't engage with them, just ignore them.

Sunny beach for a holiday? Its black sea anyway most days no one was allowed to go in the sea due to the waves. No way unless you're drunk at all times. Had to stay there for two weeks due to lockdowns and can't tell you how horrible it was.
Also stayed at this particular hotel paid via booking com for a week but had to leave the hotel on the second day due to rubbish food, non English speaking front desk staff, not having a shower head in the bathroom, not having hot water instantly had to run the water for around 10 mins to get the hit water and thats what i was told by the receptionafter 4 phone calls as they just dont understandenglish, human poo on the walls, closet and sinks in the toilets of the main restaurant (not exaggerated comments, have taken photos and sent them all to booking com) I paid extra for an expensive room with a sea view and couldn't sleep due the clubs underneath the hotel. Hotel refused to do any refunds. Booking com gave me some credit to use but it was a total disaster

It's a complicated place at the moment, I'm still in contact with investors over there and they are also pulling out. It's cheap but being an Englishman in Bulgaria isn't a good option in my opinion at the moment. My place was near Balchik a bit further north

If you look on the jet2 site via scyscanner it's £186 for the flight so you are paying £30 odd quid a day for the hotel. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a £30 per night all inclusive hotel!

    Is it Turkey or Bulgaria?
