      Never gt the msg
Is this only on advance or am I likely to get it on my premier account?
This offer is only for customers who have not been using their debit card for a while!

"We’re making using your HSBC Visa Debit Card more rewarding. Whether you’re using your card for everyday shopping, the occasional treat or even a trip outside of the UK, you can earn 1% cashback on your purchases.

From 19 July 2019 until 20 October 2019, you can earn up to £10 a month on your everyday spending1. Simply use your HSBC Visa Debit Card and you'll automatically begin to earn cashback.

Don’t forget you can even earn cashback when using your card outside the UK2.

This offer only applies to your debit card ending:
      XXXX"

      Do I qualify?

To qualify for cashback you must have an HSBC Debit Card with a HSBC UK current account, be aged 18 years and over, and you must be resident in either England, Wales, or Scotland. Residents of Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and non-UK addresses cannot qualify. Entrants who no longer meet the criteria at any time before cashback is awarded will be disqualified, even if they met the criteria before, or while the promotion is running. HSBC UK accepts no responsibility for delayed or otherwise affected cashback due to technical reasons or otherwise. HSBC UK and HSBC Group companies and contractors will not be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage arising out of organising or holding this cashback promotion or as a result of your participation in the cashback, or if the cashback promotion does not run as planned.

When does the cashback promotion start and finish?

The cashback promotion begins 19 July 2019 and closes 20 October 2019.

      1Which transactions are excluded?

The following transactions are excluded from cashback: payments for gambling transactions, financial services payments such as credit card or insurance payments, cash withdrawals, or card to card payments.

Which card is eligible for cashback?

Cashback is only available on the HSBC Debit Card with the number specified in this email. If your card is replaced for any reason, it will no longer be eligible for this offer.

How will the cashback be paid?

Cashback will be paid directly to your account within a maximum of 14 days of that transaction with 1% cashback up to a total £10 a calendar month. It will appear as ‘HSBC UK Cashback Offer’ on your statement. Once you’ve earned £10 cashback in a single calendar month, your remaining HSBC Debit Card transactions for that month will not earn cashback. You will be able to resume earning cashback from the next calendar month until the end of this offer. There is no entry fee to earn cashback.

      How do I opt out?

To opt out of the cashback promotion, contact HSBC UK with your details and state you do not wish to receive communications or cashback in connection with this promotion.

2I’m planning on using my card outside the UK?

Using your card outside the UK will incur fees that are higher than the 1% cashback. Any transaction outside the UK will be charged with a Non-sterling transaction fee of 2.75%.
@MrMoneySavingExpert worth updating the title to show it's account specific, but not only for Advanced customers. As I mention above I only have whatever their basic no conditions/no fees current account is.

It definitely appears to be a targeted offer, but I'm using mine once or twice per month.
What about Midland Bank Live Cash account holders? No email for me. That's loyalty for you.
I got the offer, the last time I used my card was 2017 when they had his offer (although that was 2% back then).
      HSBC = Crooks
I'm eligible - pretty much never use my card as it's all transferred out to Starling/Monzo for day to day use after budgeting. Not sure i cba with this - it's 1%, better than nothing, but not sure it's worth changing my system and the other banks are just better for daily spending for me with their apps and features.

Added heat as it is a good deal though.

You might want to look into Curve. One card that acts as a front to all of your others, so in the Curve app I can just switch to my HSBC card now, but the details to any site/shop remain as is for the Curve card itself. With the free version you can also select 3 merchants to get 1% cashback with for your first 3 months, you can "stack" this with any offer on the underlying card such as this, so could ge getting 2% cashback in total. Referrals now allowed here, but if you get one you can also get a bonus £5 cashback in 'Curve' points which can be spent as cash by selecting that 'card' in the app.

Mind you, I called HSBC to ask about this and they said that the offer will work for transactions using Google Pay or Apple Pay.

Yes, nothing suggests that they shouldn't work/qualify?
Looks like cashback for the first two weeks has been paid today. Seems to have worked for all spend including via Curve card and Google Pay.

      Same here!
Haven't had another credit for the past weeks yet and thought it was meant to be paid at most after 2 weeks. Anyone else? Might just be that it's being processed and will show early next week.

I haven’t had any issues, it’s likely still being processed

Since the cashback transactions that all show "INT'L 0012356789" on Monday 05/08, I still haven't had any more. Did you mean you had another batch of these showing?

Yup, so that's three of us at least reporting the same issue. I raised it via HSBCs contact us bit on their site, I'll let you know what I get back, fearing them blaming Visa like you've had!
Had a reply from Visa claiming the cashback offer is nothing to do with them .
Well someone sent out the email with the offer

Starting to feel a bit misled here ...and seeing HSBC in a different light .!.
Yeah, annoying. I messaged them via the hsbcuk.visaoffers.eu site, no reply yet.
I'm wondering if it's really only being processed monthly, give it a few days and we'll find out.
Had a load of cashback paid today. I'll need to put it all in a spreadsheet to work out which transactions they relate to.

Thanks. Same, payouts today. Guess it's set to process once a month and whoever wrote the T&C isn't in touch with who set the processing up, oh well! Looks like it's covered almost everything for me up to the weekend. Will carry on and expect the next payout next month.
Payment received at last . HSBC customer services should be made aware about any promotion the company runs.
Email from HSBC today confirming amount earnt so far. Still included "Cashback will be paid directly to your account within a maximum of 14 days of that transaction" in the T&C. Oh well.
Last few days of this, valid up to (and including I believe) Sunday. They seem to be paying the cashback more regularly now since the blip in the summer.
Summary email from HSBC received today giving total cashback earned for the promotional period.
