£1 maximum 'Final Value Fee' for items listed on Sunday & Monday this weekend.

I suspect this might work for people for whom it didn't last weekend. The last deal last weekend didn't work for me.

Once you've accepted the deal, remember to check 'Promotional Offers' under 'All Selling' on Sunday to verify that this is active before you start listing. Note that the offer will not appear in your Promotional Offers until it's active, which is on Sunday.

Many of you will get the Expired message.
This doesn't mean that the deal has expired, this just means the offer is either
(a) not active on your account yet, or
(b) you're not eligible for this offer.
I recommend that you keep trying between now and Sunday. This offer seems to become active for different accounts at different times.

Perhaps because Ebay had site issues on Monday evening & people couldn't list stuff.
I await the many posters to report the "this offer has expired" message they receive, when in fact the offer is normally in the "Promotions" section in their MyeBay during the active period (in this case 11-12 March).

Best to check there first I've always found.
Thanks op great worked
Thanks op!!!
I got last weekend's deal, but it was a bit different from usual: you had to pay £1 to list the item, but there would be no final value fee.

EDIT: just took up this weekend's deal, and it's the standard "Pay £1 if it sells" offer.

Auction or buy it now listed on the Sunday or Monday. It only has to start within that time frame not end.You can list a single quantity buy it now listing for 30 days for example.

  • You must have actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication.
  • The promotion is valid for the first 100 listings only which go live during the promotion period (or were previously scheduled to go live during the promotion period) on eBay.co.uk using the auction-style, auction-style with Buy it now option, or fixed price formats, in an eligible category. Listings using the auction-style with Buy it now option will be charged only the listing upgrade fee.

Cheers OP. Last one didn't work for me but this did. 🔥
I signed up for this a few weeks ago, sold 3 items and was charged nearly £12 in final fees not £3.

How can I check if I signed up to it - is there somewhere on eBay that stores this info? Thanks

Go to my eBay and then selling and scroll at the bottom and you can see all activated offers.
Does Ebay and paypal still take their fees once the item has sold with this promotion?

I know theres a cost to post the advert and adding extra photos etc, does this promotion limit that cost to £1? Or is it £1 total for everything?

Just slightly confused. Thanks.

no you can't
I think ebay is becoming desperate.
Fantastic, PSU in computer just died yesterday and it as its a prebuilt system (Dell) and at the price of replacing one it works out more expensive to replace the PSU than to sell all the parts and build something myself. So this couldn't of come at a better time. Thanks OP.

Accepted three of these within a month now! I've saved loads in fees. I'll end listings and then relist anything that has not sold to extend the offer. Thanks!
Many thanks worked for me, as did the last one

You pay a Max fee final value fee of £1 per item sold so for example if you sold something for £180 you would pay a £1 final value fee. It is nothing to do with the cost of listing and extras or the PayPal fee just the EBay final value fee would be £1 maximum.
