£1 maximum 'Final Value Fee' for items listed on Sunday & Monday this weekend.

I suspect this might work for people for whom it didn't last weekend. The last deal last weekend didn't work for me.

Once you've accepted the deal, remember to check 'Promotional Offers' under 'All Selling' on Sunday to verify that this is active before you start listing. Note that the offer will not appear in your Promotional Offers until it's active, which is on Sunday.

Many of you will get the Expired message.
This doesn't mean that the deal has expired, this just means the offer is either
(a) not active on your account yet, or
(b) you're not eligible for this offer.
I recommend that you keep trying between now and Sunday. This offer seems to become active for different accounts at different times.

Or is it £1 total for everything?Just slightly confused. Thanks.

eBay no, Paypal Yes.
They must be getting increasingly desperate.
Thanks op, last one didn't work for me but this one does..
It says expired for me?

You pay a Max fee final value fee of £1 per item sold so for example if you sold something for £180 you would pay a £1 final value fee. It is nothing to do with the cost of listing and extras or the PayPal fee just the EBay final value fee would be £1 maximum.

unusual for there to be 2 £1 promotions a week a part

Its for 2 different groups of sellers, mostly those who were excluded from the last offer
Is eBay going downhill or something given theres been a surge of promotional offers
How often are these? Like normally once a month? And FFS Amazon increase the price of the echo back to £200 so I can sell mine
Great OP- worked for me whereas the previous ones have not
again?
ony just finished on monday!?

Anyone else ever seen this?
Worked for me 3rd time in a row! Thanks OP
Super bad timing for me as I am off on my hols tomorrow - so two £1 fee offers have been declined in the past week.
Cheers OP!
Just so you know, and you probably won't read any Ts and Cs like I didn't, but it seems this scumbag company don't make it easy to tell you that

£1 FVF only applies to one item per category. To explain, I listed 5 old iPods in 3 separate auctions (due to different colors, so some were listed with Quantity:2), and I've only got the £1 once, not 5 times.

If I can be bothered to talk to some scumbag at eBay, I might. My other thought is to never pay it and just close my account, but I'm sure they'd sent threatening emails demanding their money.

That T&C is very well known & publicised - user error to blame here.

£1 FVF only applies to single item listings.

How long are you away for? If just a couple of weeks, you can list stuff at the weekend (whilst you're away) but with silly £1000 prices - then change to correct prices the day before you get back
luvsadealdealdeal1 h, 31 m ago

no you can't

You can but not on the mobile app. Switch to the classic site - my eBay - seller hub - overview - look down left hand side at the bottom - my promotions.

Mine won't show until the promo goes active midnight on 10th March - I imagine most people are in the same boat

Previous finished FVF promotions you'd have to go to cached content I guess
i'm in, thx
Woooooo hoooooooo got it again. eBay must be desperate for people use sell products
Heat OP!

Serious question: I have a couple of bits that won't be ready until there replacements have arrived in the middle of the week, what is it I have to do to take advantage of this offer? Don't people list the item but with a ridiculous price tag and then reduce it when the item is ready?

Thanks.

sure

that's also a way to list multiple items/ duplicate description - ie list them separately but with different prices
Thanks
Hi all, does anyone happen to know if I would be able to type some listings out tomorrow/Saturday, and save for later, then just click the list item button when the offer goes live on Sunday? I have quite a few things to list but I'm always short for time on Sundays
Says it’s expired when I click on the link?

yeah im not surprised....i bet not many people are selling on ebay..at 10% ebay final vlaue fee and 2.9% paypal fee..its a complete rip off by both these comapnies that are linked to each other..what little profit you make on selling something on ebay..they take it...very rarely do i sell unless somthing like this comes along....

YES. Make up the listing as normal and set it to start either on Sunday or Monday. What I do though is set it to start in say a weeks time and then go back and edit it on the day (Sun or Mon) and start it manually as it saves paying a fee for a timed start!
Finally worked for me, thanks!
First time I've got the 'Expired' response :-(

Ebay-selling-at the bottom you will see all the active offers, have to click on these to activate if not active. However, if you accepted this deal already, you may not see it until the offer kicks in.
Yay worked for me - thank you OP

I wouldn’t set it to start as that’s usually excluded from the promotion, same as good till ended listings. Just save a draft and list it on the start date
Thank yo
I listed 3 items during this offer on@ 04 Feb, 2018 23:27:12 GMT

"Sell for £1 max!
£1 max final value fee on up to 100 listings and no insertion fee.
Start: 04/02/18 00:00:00 GMT
End: 05/02/18 23:59:59 GMT"

All 3 items sold for £38.99 each, yet I have not been charged £1, but 3 x £3.90!

How can I chase this up with ebay? Is there some process??

Did you have 3 separate listings or 1 with a qty of 3? To get the £1 selling fees each listing can only be for 1 item only not multiple.
