£1 eBay Max selling fees, activate the offer via the deal link. Runs for 4 days until Monday.

Guidelines

  • Only single item listings (not multiple quantity listings) will qualify.
  • Remember to uncheck the box at the end for automatic relist, since that relist will not qualify for the offer.
  • It can be used for Buy it Now or Auction style listings, as long as they start in the window of the offer period.

What’s it all about?

  • Create up to 100 listings on eBay.co.uk (http://eBay.co.uk) in an eligible category
  • Listings must start during the promotional period
  • Listings can be auction-style or fixed price format
  • Pay a maximum of £1 per listing in final value fees if the item sells.
  • The promotion start and end dates are included in the email we send to invited sellers.
  • Item must sell within the first listing period.

Sounds good, where do I find the promotion and how do I sign up?

You can take part in the promotion on eBay.co.uk (http://eBay.co.uk). In the first instance, we’ll send you an email with an RSVP link to the offer. You must opt in to the promotion by clicking on this link beforeany of your 100 listings start.

Anything else I need to know?

You won’t pay an insertion fee for each of the 100 listings. Listing upgrade fees will still apply and will be charged according to the eBay fees policy. The number of listings eligible under this promotion may beless where seller restrictions apply. Click here (http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/sellinglimits.html) to learn more about selling allowances.

Who can take part?

  • This promotion is open to all registered private sellers who have been invited to take part and have actively opted in. Participation is linkedto the seller’s account and is not transferable.
  • Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Please sign in to My eBay and view your seller standards
dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards. The seller standards dashboard is available to all sellers here (https://sellerstandards.ebay.co.uk/dashboard).
  • If you registered after 15 March 2011 or haven’t listed any items for a while, you may have a listing allowance of 10 items per month or of £650 per month, whichever is reached first. You may be able to increase this allowance by providing additional verification.
  • An eligible item previously scheduled to go live during the promotional period will
qualify for the promotion only if you have opted in to the promotion before the listing starts.
  • If an item that is eligible for the promotion had previously closed without a successful sale and is re-listed during the promotion period, it will form a part of the 100 listings limit of the promotion. You willnot receive a refund of your original insertion fee if the item sells.
  • Listings do not have to successfully sell during the promotional period to be eligible.
  • If an item qualifies for the promotion and when the item sells, the invoice will indicate the fee including the discount. Please note: if the item does not sell the first time and if you relist it after the promotional period or if it is automatically relisted during the promotional period, standard final value fees will be charged
according to the eBay fees policy when the relisted item sells.
  • Items that are automatically relisted through the Automatic relist function or the Good ‘Till Cancelled function will be charged.
  • Only single quantity listings are eligible.
  • For items listed in 2 or more categories, only the insertion fee for the first category is included. Standard insertion fees will be charged for listing the same item for each additional category, according to the eBay fees policy.
  • Free listings in this promotion do not count towards your monthly 1000 free listings.
  • Your first listing period may vary and is dependent on the listing format you choose (e.g. – auction-style vs buy-it-now), the duration of the listing you choose and the listing experience you use. The first listing period will be considered to have been ended when the listing you create first renews or relists.

Restrictions & exclusions

The following are excluded from the promotion:

Additional terms
  • Any attempt to manipulate this promotion, or past promotions will lead to automatic exclusion from participation.
  • eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any
time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it
necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.
  • eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.

eBay change BIN listings recently. All BIN listings now last 31 days, so whatever you list, will have the £1 final fee for the whole duration. Some important things to note, only listings with a quantity of 1 are eligible. If you have 2 or more of the same, make multiple listings. After the event ends, do not make any changes to the listing, it will void the £1 final fee offer. Any changes can be made during the event, but not in the remaining few weeks.

yeah same, did not get sucked into the £3 max fees last weekend no thanks
Fingers crossed, I get the invite. My last 2 invites have been for £3 FVP. The first week I accepted and listed a few items. Last weekend, I decided to boycott incase my previous acceptance was launching some algorithm that excluded me from the £1 offer. I've been getting the £1 offer for approximately every fortnight for the last year

Rather annoyingly I think eBay has just crashed- accepted the offer then asked me to sign in then went back to my selling and now some random free car listing is showing?? Exactly the same with the app??
So the idea is to buy off the BF sale on Amazon and then sell here - sweet deal eh chanch

Yeah same. I dont want ebay to think that they could do away with the £1 offer. Hopfully most feel the same way.
Resisted the £3 offer and (coincidence or not) I have this. Email offering it usually arrives after 1am but you can see if you're in at the bottom of your selling overview page in classic view.

Classic view also gives you the power to bulk relist, thank god.
My last set of £1 listings expired around 5pm today. i had a phone for sale that was the cheapest buy it now sale for a good condition phone of this type by about £20.

Was on sale for 5 days, got ~200 views and no sale. Re listed the phone and put the price up as Iwas no longer getting the discount in regards to the final fee. Got 150 views in 6 hours and sold. Unfortunate buyer spent £15 more on the phone than he would have because ebay hide the £1 auctions (or at-least make them less visible) and try to catch you out on the automatic re listing at full final value fee.

Time will tell - Ebay have 10-20% off every week and free selling almost. Try being a seller on Amazon & come back to me

It will be flooded with fake deals at £50 with £5-£10 off > the echo show

Although, I'm an honest buyer on ebay, one crazy example is a i7 6700k been sent to me in a envelope with a single stamp on it... I presume just thrown in a post box... I messaged the seller and explained the cpu had arrived, but they should always send at least signed for.... Ideally they should of paid for special delivery, considering the value of the processor... Crazy or brave seller... But not worth the risk.

Hmmm, you might find that listings when first listed tend to be towards the top of the search results, but as time passes, the listing tends to fall down the search results.... So when you relisted you got the short lived visibility boost for been a new listing.... But it sold..

Thats not how it works, any search for a particular product would bring up the results that were most relevant. But yes it sold.
Yes yes yes, did not list a single item on £3 fees worth waiting for.

Not quite.... When you have many of the same item listed... Then why would yours be more relevant than the other phones of the same brand and model?
If I start an auction today for 7 days...I will still get this offer? Or I need to end it in 4 days? Thanks..

It simply needs to be listed in the next 4 days and sold in that 7 days you have it up.
Very happy to see this on the app. I was a little worried as its been three weeks since the last universal £1 offer (I got £2 offer two weeks ago).

Got lots to list!
OP, I love you!
