It's back again and for 4 days this time.....Forget a romantic weekend away, what better way to cheer the Missus up than counting those pennies this Valentine's day?

£1 eBay Max selling fees, activate the offer via the deal link (14th - 17th February 2020)

Remember: if you're not accepted now wait until it goes live and try again. If you meet all the conditions and still have no luck, try asking eBay as they have activated it on their end in the past when requested.

Guidelines

Only single item listings (not multiple quantity listings) will qualify.

Remember to uncheck the box at the end for automatic relist, since that relist will not qualify for the offer.

It can be used for Buy it Now or Auction style listings, as long as they start in the window of the offer period.

What’s it all about?

Create up to 100 listings on eBay.co.uk (ebay.co.uk) in an eligible category

Listings must start during the promotional period

Listings can be auction-style or fixed price format

Pay a maximum of £1 per listing in final value fees if the item sells.

The promotion start and end dates are included in the email we send to invited sellers.

Item must sell within the first listing period.

Sounds good, where do I find the promotion and how do I sign up?

You can take part in the promotion on eBay.co.uk (ebay.co.uk). In the first instance, we’ll send you an email with an RSVP link to the offer. You must opt in to the promotion by clicking on this link before any of your 100 listings start.

Anything else I need to know?

You won’t pay an insertion fee for each of the 100 listings. Listing upgrade fees will still apply and will be charged according to the eBay fees policy. The number of listings eligible under this promotion may be less where seller restrictions apply. Click here (pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/sellinglimits.html) to learn more about selling allowances.

Who can take part?

This promotion is open to all registered private sellers who have been invited to take part and have actively opted in. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable.

Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay minimum seller performance standards
are eligible. Please sign in to My eBay and view your seller standards dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards. The seller standards dashboard is available to all sellers here (https//se…rd) (sellerstandards.ebay.co.uk/dashboard)).

If you registered after 15 March 2011 or haven’t listed any items for a while, you may have a listing allowance of 10 items per month or of £650 per month, whichever is reached first. You may be able to increase this allowance by providing additional verification.

An eligible item previously scheduled to go live during the promotional period will qualify for the promotion only if you have opted in to the promotion before the listing starts.

If an item that is eligible for the promotion had previously closed without a successful sale and is re-listed during the promotion period, it will form a part of the 100 listings limit of the promotion. You will not receive a refund of your original insertion fee if the item sells.

Listings do not have to successfully sell during the promotional period to be eligible.

If an item qualifies for the promotion and when the item sells, the invoice will indicate the fee including the discount. Please note: if the item does not sell the first time and if you relist it after the promotional period or if it is automatically relisted during the promotional period, standard final value fees will be charged according to the eBay fees policy when the relisted item sells.

Items that are automatically relisted through the Automatic relist function or the Good ‘Till Cancelled function will be charged.

Only single quantity listings are eligible.

For items listed in 2 or more categories, only the insertion fee for the first category is included. Standard insertion fees will be charged for listing the same item for each additional category, according to the eBay fees policy.

Free listings in this promotion do not count towards your monthly 1000 free listings.

Your first listing period may vary and is dependent on the listing format you choose (e.g. – auction-style vs buy-it-now), the duration of the listing you choose and the listing experience you use. The first listing period will be considered to have been ended when the listing you create first renews or relists.

Restrictions & exclusions

The following are excluded from the promotion:

Sellers who have been invited to participate, but have not actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication.

All items listed in the Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles and Property categories. However items listed in the Vehicle Parts & Accessories category are included.

Additional terms

Any attempt to manipulate this promotion, or past promotions will lead to automatic exclusion from participation.

eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.

eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance
standards. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.

Facebook Marketplace is free!!

My experience of Facebook marketplace.

List a PS4 console for £150
Message from someone - will you take £10
Me - no
Them - will you swap for a gerbil?
Me - are you on crack?
Them - yes do you sell crack?
Me - block, delete item, list on eBay £1 listings

I may have dramatised this comment for comedic effect but you get the jist
A good amount of time to sell all those unwanted valentines gifts that you don't receive. Heat!

Why pay a pound when you can sell on Facebook commission free?

Most of the Facebook users I come across are chancers, who have no shame about offer 50% or less than my asking price!

I would say that's one very large reason.

Anyone got any experience selling mobiles on eBay? Is it risky as I don't …Anyone got any experience selling mobiles on eBay? Is it risky as I don't want to get scammed by someone

I've sold a few and never had a problem.

Be honest and describe any faults, marks, scratches etc in detail. Use all the 12 free pics, try to show any marks etc in the pics and make sure at least one shows the IMEI number on the screen.

Describe the phone in as much detail as you can, especially if it's locked to a particular network. Make sure you mention any accessories, cables, charger, case, box etc.

Only accept payment by PayPal and only send to a confirmed UK address on the PayPal account by tracked and insured post.

It runs from the 14th, so your listing can’t go live until after midnight. The banner will show on eBay site once it’s live.

Try on the day
Thank you.. I have been waiting for this..
Thanks again, activated.

I’ve got some items due to end next week on the last £1 offer. Is there anything to stop me cancelling my items on Friday and relisting them immediately for another 30 days? I've scanned through the t&cs and can’t see anything.

Have to wait till it goes live on the 14th, but you can schedule one now to go live on the 14th - normally scheduling upto 100 listings is free I think? Failing that, save the listing as draft now then edit and make it live on the 14th.

I always keep a private record of the IMEI and serial numbers of handsets that I sell but, personally, I never show the IMEI in the listing photos as I've always thought it creates the opportunity for criminals to browse auction sites to find IMEI numbers to clone. Maybe I'm being overly cautious but I've never had any problems.
nice one, thanks
Done 🏼
Early birthday present! Now to actually be motivated to list 100 items and not 10.
