Gutted this is only available down south - otherwise I'd be all over it like a Wiganer in a pie paradise.

- Limited to 2000 stock, or offer ends midnight Thursday
- Redeemable from this Friday until 31st May

Wash your mouth out with 'meat and potato pie' and say 25 'Hail Pies' and you might just be forgiven.

I wish there was a sick emotion on here, because you would get about 20 of um, pies are disgusting, wiganer or not, there greasy, have gristle in them, and give you heartburn, oh and make you fat

A meal for £1.00 that's a bargain heat

sweeny & todds (or sweeny Toods as most people call it) in Reading has been making pies longer than most if not all of your northern pie shops and the pies are good, though not as good as my wife's homemade ones

Is this a 'Battersea Bundle'?

What's the meat content? (northern)

any vegetable option?

do they include 'horse chestnuts' in their pies?

You can get fish and chips for that!

Woooo ordered :-)

So is this were all the dogs go that don't find new homes?

A sweeping generalisation if ever there was one!

The pies at Sweeny Tod are nice but I've had good and bad ones north and south. The best pie I had was in the north of England although Sweenys isn't far behind and they get extra marks for the waitresses memorising and narrating the menu.

I think you are right... when you say north, I presume you mean NorthWEST... where they pump pies full of potatoes - there is little enough meat in most pies, but fill it with spuds and it's barely detectable, the rest of the north doesn't do that!

Woop I'm going Bluewater tomorrow http://freeemoticonsandsmileys.com/animated%20emoticons/Dancing%20Animated%20Emoticons/hamster%20dance.gif

Had one these on Monday with a similar but more expensive offer with Keynoir. £1 is a bargain for London. Will use this next time I am in London with my cheapo Travelodge hotel and cheapo travel

Heat added - I am surprised that this offer has not sold out. Still lots left
