A lot of its "oaklands" andv says british, but its hard to know where they actually come from. The carrots i have say Norfolk on it.

Tesco are doing a 5KG bag of onions for £1.99 or 40p per KG at the moment, and have been getting these recently.

Yes, lots of it is British - same producers who supply other multiples - the country of origin is usually clearly displayed on the packaging/boxes. I've no connection with Aldi, but I've seen Oaklands stuff being picked & packed alongside other (allegedly superior) brands . Same applies for Lidl too.

Local Asian Shops sells them 99p for 5kg! You will find its the market rate at the moment. Restaurants are buying 25kg for £3

Just bought 4kg of onions from my local corner shop for just £1. No idea why onions are so expensive in the large supermarkets.
