A good deal if like Pizza Hut.

And that's a big IF. Our local Pizza Hut is awful. Local independent takeaways are much better

Asda's are amazing and the big 14" ones are only about £4 with 4 of your own toppings, or even half and half ! Absolute rip off these places, I don't get it!(I'm not a 60 year old bloke even if I complain like one )

Amazing is a bit of an overstatement

Many years since I went into a Pizza Hut, but I do remember it being the first non-burger place I ever went out for a meal with friends as a teenager, I thought it was great then. I also don't fully understand why you'd want two fried side dishes and a load of fizzy pop with a pizza, but each to their own.

Had a Pizza Hut delivery for the first time last night, usually go to Papa John's because their discounts are better and they have a rewards scheme, something Pizza Hut and Domino's don't have.

While the pizzas tasted fine, I found them much smaller than Papa John's. Won't go back.

Guess its just a lot easier than going to asda then having to bring it back and cook it. Convenience costs and someone will always pay

The problem I have with Papa Johns is that there's no unique taste, something I get with Pizza Hut or Dominos.

If I had to go Papa Johns, it would be because my oven is broken and I needed an XL pizza to last a few days, otherwise I'd rather just cook one in the oven.

I make my own when I have the time. The kids love them and being able to put their own toppings on. I honestly don’t remember the last time I had Pizza Hut or dominoes. But I remember it being very greasy

You can make your own for even less, and will be much nicer.

Pizza hut has the worst ever pizza..

Pizza hut large size is the medium in other places.. the price has been going up and the pizza size going down...

Save yourself more money and get a asda pizza much nicer! This is cold as hell. Pizza Hut pizza's suck!

I always go for their £8 any size pizza collection and 3 classic sides for £5. Which is much cheaper than this deal

You've clearly never had cheesy bites.

The value for money and quality of these big chains' takeaway pizza has also gone done the drain over the last 10 years. You pay almost £20 for a single night's pizza, and if you use Pizza Hut now they no longer do medium pizzas, so you pay like £8 for a tiny personal one.

Do yourself a favour and go into Pizza Hut for a sit down meal. Probably only cost you £10 more than the takeaway, but you get the salad bar, nice drinks, a much better quality pizza and the excitement of eating out as a family too.

I know quality can vary from store to store but in my experience Pizza Hut's pizza's are absolutely woeful!

They do have the best desserts of any pizza chain though.

my local pizza shop do the best deal

The last time I went to Pizza Hut it had a new menu and it was garbage. They seem to have trimmed all the fat and streamlined the business. But the result is poor and I won’t be going back.

OMG, is the Freddy Krueger?!

Yup its not like dominos or pizza hut use a bunch of super organic, conflict-free, non-pesticide, homegrown, farm-approved, locally-produced, hand-reared, fairtrade, non-GMO, mens-health magazine approved & award winning 90 day smoked and aged pepperoni is it?

But even if they did...........maybe £4.25.................£4.50 at max.

Asda pizzas aren't a patch on Domino's, sorry grandad.
But yes, they're massively overpriced.

You must have not have had a Chicago Town Take Away one, my friend!

Ordered £17 deal thats what i order when its half price pizza. Normally couple pence cheaper but when you are being ripped off like this that doesnt matter.

Our pizza hut is awful... always have Dominos, so much nicer and alot more choice of toppings when creating your own

Asda ones are epic, highly recommended!

what else would you drink with a pizza?

Frozen pizzas tastebetter than pizza hut l. They just got worse over time

Yeah Pizza Hut hasn't been good since the mid 90's when Southgate had a paper bag over his head. Domino's and Papa John's are just more of the same except their sauces are actually better than Pizza Huts.

Like the other posters on here best to get one of those pizzas from Asda. Even the Morrison ones aren't half bad.

Usually buy two Asda ones myself for the weekend then go to my favourite Turkish local takeaway and get a £2 box of mixed meat which includes shredded spicy chicken, pepperoni and genuine Donner not that processed cash and carry crap. I use them as topping on the pizza and bake them on a pizza stone. It really isn't far off from a decent takeaway pizza saving a few quid.

PJ's are best they've done will in their short time here, 1st time I ordered from PJ's was in 2008, they are the best

Sir_Didymus9 m ago

... and genuine Donner not that processed cash and carry crap.

So, is that from an organic free range locally sourced Donner then?
