Bought my girlfriend a bottle for her birthday. Mixed with Coca-Cola she couldn't taste any difference between Kraken and a bottle of £6.99 dark rum from Lidl.

Or better get Brandy or Cognac. I can only drink rum as cocktail when masked by syrup.
