Tastes exactly the same, although the alcohol is slightly less at 17.5%. Fantastic with lemonade and mint leaves!

Grab yourself a summer bargain while stocks last!

Great price, will have to get myself down there. I have been buying the Aldi version'Austins' which is £5.99 but only for 70cl. Heat added.

tried this recenty, it's pretty nice well worth the price

That tastes the same too and is great, and I think the alcohol content is 22.5% from memory, with Pimm's being 25%. But a litre for a penny less than six pounds - it would have been rude of me to have not bought a bottle!

Same as aldi. Not a great deal as standard price for unofficial Pimms, but still hot.

This is for 1 litre, not 0.7cl that ALDI sell. That's 42% more!

Where?

luv it too
cant complain at this price

at this price no need to be sober ever great stuff used it a few times at my bbq's no ones the wiser

Didn't notice, nice one!

Great with lemonade and sliced cucumber.

Reminds me of the Henley Regatta.

This is the best Pimm's No.1 copy out there, just add a dash of gin plus the usual goodies and you're in business. I just wish they did a copy of Pimm's No.3 then I'd have the whole year sorted

This tastes nothing like Pimms. It's too sweet, too orangey and not bitter enough - I suppose if your barbecue guests are already **** when they arrive then the fact the stuff you're serving them is sickly rubbish won't matter. If you want a Pimms analogue that does taste like Pimms then you want Sainsburys Pitchers - bit more expensive though.

I checked my local store a few weeks ago and they said they had stopped doing it.....LIARS.
Going tomorrow
Thanks op

Bizarrely the op's picture looked completely normal to me, till I realized that's the normal viewpoint one would have after a few

Bizarrely, my phone / app insisted on submitting the photo sideways, even though it was upright. I couldn't see any way to rotate it via the app. As you say, this viewpoint would look about normal after drinking enough of it!

Has anybody tried the Oxford one sold by Home Bargains? It sells for about six quid and is made by Manchester Drinks Co.

This is good with Wooster sauce.

I drank the full bottle straight (slowly as I like the taste,, not as in binge) Not recommended. Hangover from hell!!

I think drinking anything that contains 22.5 units of alcohol in one go is likely to produce a hangover from hell - or acute liver failure.

I've got one chilling nicely in the fridge.

yep same here..sent the son down for some more mint!....i got the jeeves at tesco a few weeks back when it was a fiver for a 70cl..... have drunk about six since then ..I had pimms in a friends recently and did not notice a massive difference....need to do a side by side test as the lemonade is also important...as is the mint and the fruit you add quantity wise, time of day..degree of wastedness...to many variables to make a clear decision on it..

ok second glass in....first off this is 25% so a lot stronger than Jeeves at 17.5. I find it tastes fine and definitely different to the Jeeves which is a bit more subtle maybe due to being weaker ....i would say that the tasting conditions are somewhat different today as the weather is poor and the lack of sunshine definitely affects the utility value initially......

Again without the Pimms standard to compare, it's difficult to rate but i would say there's little between Jeeves and pitchers for the most part..I think it's important to mention i don't like cucumber in it...just extra mint + apple so again you would need to consider that variable...

I think cucumber is too overpowering for a drink and it's all I can taste. Fresh mint is lush though. I always smack mine before putting it in the glass, no idea why, but all the cocktail bars do it!

savers seem to be jumping on the bandwagon - they're selling oxford original 700ml 15% for £4.99.

i have to eat my words a bit on the fruit...we had a session starting at 1pm on Thursday, weather was spot on.. was a catch up with mates after everyone returning from holidays... and the people who held it would not hear of only having mint added strawberries, cucumber, orange, apple...i have to say it was great...also i did less snacking because you could much on the multitude of fruit in the drink!
