Buy lynx its only about a quid!

This stuff is really drying on the skin but at that price you could use it as washing up liquid.

Hmm, you smell like a patch-o-wee.

I've seen interviews with industry experts on TV and they claim that there is very little difference between all shower gel's and shampoo's. They all use the same basic set of ingredients. With the more well known brands you are basically paying for the marketing and contributing towards their profit.

I use the cheap stuff out of Homie B's , ive never known any shower gel that left a lasting scent and as a real man why would i want to smell all flowery anyway just as long as i dont smell of stale sweat thats the idea right ?

Unless it's Dove- it won't dry the skin like soap can. It's pH neutral so it won't dry your skin like soap can and it contains ¼ moisturiser to leave your skin feeling soft and looking beautiful.

I washed my hair with shower gel back in my school days, i was left with a very very flaky scalp and looked like i had the worst case of dandruff known to man.

In fact that whole episode could have been the starting point which led me off the tracks and into an adolescence filled with crime and drug use.

Moral of the story = using shower gel as shampoo will inevitably land you in crown court on violent disorder charges.

For that reason, i'm out.

What I meant was that most shampoo's use the same sort of formula and most shower gel's use the same sort of formula. I was not trying to say that shampoo's and shower gel's use the same formula. I have the same problem if I use shower gel for hair. But I've never noticed any significant difference between different brands of shower gel for the body so I always use budget brands now.

Voted HOT. Working in the Quality dept of a very lage hair care firm, I can honestly say there is hardly any difference between shower gels + shampoo. Shower gels are literally the same (look at the ingredients if you dont believe me), cheap shampoos will be the same too. When it comes to the ones that leave your hair "silky soft", well...... thats just silicone....lol.

So IMO, cheap shower gel + cheap shampoo win every time! most expensive = more advertising + more crap!

That's also true of bath creams and moisturizers and they are even cheaper.

I used the cheaper stuff and found I went through it quicker, so then paid a bit more for nivea that lather's up a lot so I dont use so much. So if you can please recomended me a cheap one that lather's up well because I havent found any yet.

shower gel is something just to get yourself clean why the prejudice against it being cheap when you spray yourself in body spray and cologne afterwards?

here's a tip, save your money on the shower gel and use what you saved to buy a decent body spray. decent meaning not something from a supermarket!

Actually spotted this the other week and thought what the hell. Bought it and it's really nice actually. A great price for a great amount and leaves you smelling amazing. Depending on whether you like orange obviously. Heated up
