Hopefully they will last until then

So does it not work out at £10 a bottle if you buy before tomorrow (based on buying 3 bottles with discount code). Here's the logic:

- Adding to your basket now is still £20 (so add 3 bottles to get to £60)
- Add the £15 discount code so is £45 for 3 bottles
- Collect in store tomorrow and they should charge you the price on the day which will be £15 a bottle minus the new customer code
- So £30 for 3 1 litre bottles (happy easter)

I have seen this loophole posted before but am sure someone will say if this doesnt work. cheers

Yes, that works, I've done this before to get my order up to £60 to get the £15 code off to work.

If anyone wants to do this though, they'll have to be quick, because Tesco will probably update the prices later on today.

says 20 from tomorrow?

No it doesn't.

oops silly me

I like the Aldi gin, but prefer to go for Gordon's when it's £15. That Morgan's Spiced is very tempting too! Thanks for the heads-up OP, might just try that £30 trick

Would go well with the glasses if you've bought them?

FYI, duty and VAT on 1litre of vodka is £12.70 and there's some sort of rule or law that forbids retailers selling at under that price.
As a vodka fan, £15/litre is as good as you're going to get, a bonus that it's a half decent brand.
I'm still shocked that they can sell it for £2.30 (including VAT and shop mark-up). Fermenting potatoes must be a cheap process!

So same price Asda has been for nearly two weeks?

This DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. It used to work but Tesco caught on a couple of months ago and they no longer apply the discount when they package the order because you haven't met the minimum spend.

Also - the cashback may not work with the voucher code as stated in both TCB and Quidco's of Terms and Conditions:

TCB - "If an unauthorised vouchercode is used, the cashback will be declined."

Quidco - "If you use voucher codes or gift vouchers that are not listed on Quidco your cashback may not track or be declined."

Yes, you're right. I got refused in Sainsburys on the 7th for trying to to use a total spend money off voucher buying alcohol, it's the new policy, had a sign up too saying the law changed on the 6th ;'(

Can u do that £60 trick with shopping instead of alcohol ? If so wat is it you have to look out for ?

Oh balls, I was hoping to try that trick. Might try the Blackberry Pimm's then. Nearly summer after all

Thanks, 2 x Gordon's, 1 x Pimms, 1 Vodka = £45 collect at store for free, worked a treat.

Haha well cheers for discouraging me and others, everyone. Never mind. 4L for £45 isn't that much more terrible than 3L for £30.

It does work, if you read the rest of the comments in this thread. It also worked on a wine deal I ordered through the groceries website.
