Found 9th Apr
Spotted these in Sainsburys yesterday at a further reduction. The assistant mentioned back up to usual £20 soon, so good opportunity to stock up... if you can resist the temptation and also manage to hide your stash from your mates ! (max 6 bottles per transaction).
Enjoy

Blended Scotch Whisky (40% alc by volume)
Triple matured for a smoother richer taste
IWSC Gold 2014 - International wine & spirit competition quality award
Triple maturation is the secret behind the award-winning taste of

Whyte & Mackay. Firstly, the finest single malt whiskies, each

individually matured for many years, are carefully selected by our

Master Blender. Next, they are combined in sherry casks and matured once

again to attain a perfect harmony of flavours. Finally, the blended

malts are mixed with aged grain whiskies and returned to cask to mature

even further. This dedication to the art of blending creates an extra

smooth and richer tasting whisky.

Sight back next day - Guaranteed !!!

What a really silly comment. I am of an age that this, Bells and Grouse would be the Whisky of choice in my part of the UK back in the day, as the yanks say. But still would be something that I would find perfectly palatable now. So please enlighten us on your loss of eye sight!

Silly comment. There's no guarantee your sight will actually come back, try Domestos, it's safer.

Things change. The past is the past. The present offers much more choice and quality for your money.

The Red Dwarf pun was obviously lost on you. If you enjoy this good for you, but have you at least tried what's out there for a reasonable price now?

As I still have my eyesight at the age of 60, methinks you are just a silly wee boy talking rubbish. Amazes me that this forum bans me on occasion, but lets people like you spout absolute rubbish on a daily basis.

It was a joke about an amount of whisky at a price that I suspect runs pretty close to the minimum alcohol pricing level that keeps getting banded about.

I doubt the Whyte & Mackay (or it's Phillaphines owner) will be losing much sleep over it because of the huge amount they actually shift of this stuff.

Lighten up. I still buy pot noodles but don t rush to slap the wrist of anyone younger than me who jokes about them.
