purple bottle cap.
No, at Tesco it's orange, for some reason. Purple at Morrison's.
I always buy the milk with purple top at Tesco, but be careful as they have have different % milk with the same coloured lids, I ended up with 4% last time.
Good price. To bad no tesco in walking distance near me.
4pts in Aldi are always 99p or a pound for full fat or semi and you don't need to buy two to get the deal. I'm sure you all know this. This is better off course if this is the milk you use and you need 8pts.
Makes it the same price as farmfoods always sell it for then

1% milk, what's the other 99%?

But this deal is cheaper than 99p each? And aren't they 2 litres not 2.272? Same goes for farmfoods?

The rest is fat.
1% fat milk is all I ever buy. It's cheap and tastes good and better for your waistline. Think of 1% fat milk as between semi skimmed and skimmed. Skimmed tastes like water though! Yuk!

Farm Foods is 2 litres while Aldi/Lidl is the full 4 pints!
I'm sure it's 87p in Asda for 4 pints, that's the regular price.

Marc
Bought 4 pints of milk at my local Tesco yesterday (for £1.49) and no sign at all of any milk on special offer, but then I have never found any of the HUKD Tesco deals in stock at my local Tesco....:(

It is 87p but it's 2 litres
It was 15p for 4 pints in Peterborough this afternoon, 4 days life ... guessing they have over ordered on a national scale!!

1% milk??? It will be nearly see thru!
which store was this at, not online just checked, must be stored specific
Original Poster
It was at Gillingham store. Its 4 pints not 2 litres.
Bought some today - very similar to 2% ( Hard to tell the difference)

Wish Tesco would change their multi buy deals on milk - who need 3 bottles of 4pint a week?

We now do our shopping at Asda for their 2 for £2 - so Tesco lose approx £100 per week as a result of their greed

Actually, Farmfoods sell their 4 pint milk jugs for £1 or 2 for 1.80. This deal's cheaper (heat added).
I don't get through 4 points a week, but like most people nowadays when you see a good deal, make the most of the freezer.

I often keep the odd bottle in the freezer. Saves me getting annoyed when there's not enough milk left in the fridge for breakfast and not in the mood to tolerate supermarket queues.

For true see thru
you wanna try 0.01% milk for that WTF you putting into my tea moment
Must diary farmers have to sell there milk for less than it cost them to produce it. This is since the supermarkets sell it so cheap and offer deals like this.
Still a hot deal. just thought you should all know that.

I shop at Tesco for their 3 for £3 deal which is a lot better for my family as we go through 3, if not 4 bottles of 4 pints per week. We all drink milk before bed.
meh, we need to legalise raw milk already!
Creamfield milk is £1 for a 4 pinter at my local Tesco.

0.01%??? Where is that? I've seen 0.1% at asda...
This is normally only £79 per 4 pints I buy this all the time. all supermarkets have it at roughly at this price.

I think that price is beyond Harrods. The milk must be laced with Caviar or something
Hang on isn't this normally 50p for 4 pints!!!

That was for a limited time at Morrisons. It'll be rare to see another deal like that again.
They've done that Morrisons deal at least 2-3 times, but yes, it's infrequent...
Just preparation for another Tesco price rise. Creamfields 1% milk used to be 75p for 3 litres (5.25 pints) about a year ago. Then it went to £1.10 for 3 litres. Then they downsized the bottle to this size (4 pints), and sold it for £1. Now they're obviously hiking the price another 50% and hiding it behind a BOGOF deal.

Hot deal, rubbish Tescos pricing though.
Bought 4 pint bottle of this with the orange top at tesco on saturday night and it was 22p. It's actually ok.
as i was leaving tesco yesterday they announced this stuff was down to 5p!!i thought i must've been hearing things!it was almost out of date, people were rushing the aisle,it was like free money had been announced!lol, the rate at which we go through milk is crazy!
