Nice spot

Right. where's the map.Heat

they need to pay me

Note that it's off peak day returns. From the midlands that's not going to get me very far lol. Love Scotland though.

Will I need to select specific dates? Or are they open-dated tickets?

Not quite correct. It's not day returns.

Based on the recent ticket giveaways, you have to stipulate an outward date. But the odd thing is I still have one of those still registered on my smartcard, the only thing is I daren't risk testing if it's still works by getting on an Aberdeen to Edinburgh train without a valid ticket and being asked for £65.

Would be great if it worked. We live next to the west highland line so a free day-out to Oban would be great!

Couldn't live any further from Scotland without getting my feet wet. It's some day trip!

The email that arrived in my inbox from scotrail this morning says different... As did the link contained therein kind sir

It may be that how they calculated the £1million value but the promo picture of a tickey says "the £1 million off peak day return ticket giveaway" though... Maybe it's just a mock ticket.

Not many 'travelling from' destinations. Is that right?

I'm assuming only in Scotland for starters.

Only travel from scotland??

Scotrail link not working for me. Hotukdeals strikes again lol

doesnt work

Scorching

Thanks OP, great deal - got 2 sets.

Got one so far, trying to get second one now. Planning to use both for one way Journeys rather than return but still a good deal!

Only seems to be valid for single journeys not trips requiring changes, so to get a ticket from Kyle of Lochalsh to Edinburgh i'm having to get two vouchers.

Edit: Got my second ticket too! Both journeys are on a Saturday in November, the cheapest advance tickets would set me back £10, on the day tickets would be a lot more so a good giveaway for me!

Obviously wasn't going to be a peak ticket, as a million quid wouldn't buy one of those

Managed to get tickets to Edinburgh on a saturday. Better than nothing!

Result thanks

Only travel from scotland??

Confirmed. All origin stations are in Scotland. I feel a bit hard done to.
A bit like the time I went to uni in Scotland and had to pay tuition fees but all my scottish pals didn't, yet we paid the same taxes (none lol) and if they studied in England theirs would have been free! I got lots of sympathy though. Not. Lol

Great for those who live in and want to travel around Scotland, for everyone else, not much point.

haha Yeh

Got one set :-) the site is very slow so just be patient ..

Great deal, got a couple of tickets from Edinburgh to Aviemore. It says "Your ticket voucher is valid in either direction between the two stations listed" So I guess you could stop at multiple locations throughout the day

Thanks Op

perfect

The websites service is up to the same rubbish standard as their manky trains I see. So expect delays and cancellations when using their site.....

This is DDos-ing their site, great if it actually worked though.

no Markinch as a starting point!!!!!

no Markinch as a starting point!!!!!

just select edinburgh or somewhere else depending on where you want to go. I wanted inverkeithing to aviemore but as i couldnt select inverkeithing i chose edinburgh and will just get on at inverkeithing.

The confirmation says valid any direction from any station inbetween the two you choose.

Website is useless

That's half an hour wasted, cant get past step 1

Think you'll find that Scots at English Unis do have to pay fees, but EU students studying in Scotland get it free, English ones don't....ludicrous!!
