Previously posted as 250 mins, but the deal is back on with 500 mins and 5000 texts. although no internet it does seem to be a good deal compared to rest of the sim only deals!

Different to the other deal in that that included 500mb of data but with 250mins.

COLD. How can you possibly d without internet ?????

a lot of ppl dont use internet at all... so 500 mins for a tenner is very good.

Is this a joke? Loads of people have low end or budget phones and don't use the internet at all. I know I don't - although to be fair I hardly use my mobile at all.

Not everybody has, needs or even wants a smartphone.

It is an ok deal. If you want a good deal then wait till there is a good cashback offer on a 12 month sim only they usually work out about £5 per month with internet.

Tesco uses O2. This is best deal around for anyone with no need for internet.

A little bit unclear, so lets try a little of everything.

For pay as you go try: giffgaff.com/

For monthly contract take a look at 3 Mobile. They have 3K texts and 1GB internet. They support unlimited calling on skype over regular voice line (not data). You cannot call UK numbers, but you can call anyone on Skype (no video).
three.co.uk/Pay…SIM

If you are willing to take 12 month contract T-Mobile does great deals once in a while. They show up here.

How much do you want to spend on the phone? For Facebook you need over 250MB of data and phone with big screen.
Need more info to make suggestions.

It's ironic how many of you have no use for the internet ... yet you are on HUKD.
Porbably 5% of the people I know (and I know a lot, being in the line of work that I'm in) have plain old phones. MOST people have smartphones which are useless without the internet.

cold deal for me still

Not everyone with a smartphone needs mobile internet. In most cases, wifi is good enough unless you spend most time on the run or somewhere with no access to a connected computer (which accounts for probably 1% of people I know.).

I wonder how many people use smart phone to access HDUK.

CTPAHHIK

You mean HUKD not HDUK
but that's not the point. Not everyone coming to this site just visits HUKD obviously.

When the Ipad came out, there were a lot fewer non-3g sales than 3g sales ... people out there are very mobile these days and the net always comes in use.

It's probably the older generation that only need a phone and texts ...

for non smartphones it is a good deal, but if you do require a data wit your allowance this is not for you but, for people complaning that there is no data included dont compain its not for you!

Me. I batter the internet on my phone. It means I don't have to boot up my laptop anymore.

having a friends list with 4millions "friends" does not class you as knowing alot of people.

Tesco uses O2.

Tesco Mobile is half owned by o2.

Chitter Chatter (Talk mobile) = £6 pm for 100 mins, 100 texts and unlimited (500mb) internet.

Cyrus

COLD. How can you possibly d without internet ?????

Gee I dunno, maybe if you ever noticed that a majority of phones sales are of the non 'smart' variety then you might realise this is a great deal for talk and texters, don't vote cold simply because it is not something you would buy instead keep your unwanted vote to yourself.

Voted HOT!

Typed from my HUGE desktop PC not on a phone.

I do.....I use a mobile phone as I am very hard of hearing..I have an O2 simplicity sim,300mins,unlimited texts and unlimited landline calls for £10 a month and I also get £5 a month off my O2 broadband.
Internet via mobile phones isn't compulsory and in a lot of cases is nothing more than a glorified toy

So is the tesco coverage/reception as good as o2?

We use something called a "computer".

I work at home and have an old phone, why would I need mobile internet?

Voting a deal cold because it doesn't meet your specific needs kind of goes against the spirit of the site.

COLD because tesco were doing the same deal but with 500mb not to long ago, there are better options for £10 (giffgaff)

in essence, isn't that the same as voting cold because its not personally a good deal for you?

But it does offset others voting hot just for the sake of clicking. There are a lot of deals here that are not hot at all and others that should be.

I'm with TESCO. Just to warn you all Tesco uses O2 network however it does not support call waiting service. Not voted either way.

i could not be without my internet not now i have a android phone
