Nice one - Don't forget that you can instantly head to your account and cancel, to avoid the recurring charge and still use your free month. Just done it

    Cheers for this!

So we have Prime, Netflix, Disney+ on top of sky sports and movies etc - when is this nonsense going to stop? It's getting ridiculous!

These services are legally acquired and not an illegal IPTV account.
I needed to use a VPN to subscribe to HBO, S Sport+ and Prime. I never stated I lived in the countries I subscribed to, in fact my prime account has my UK address, so I didn't fraudulently obtain them
My Disney, StarZ Play, now entertainment and cinema subscriptions are all UK promotional rates that are open to anyone.
Apple TV can be obtained free if you have an apple product or a sky VIP member.
Disney is free for a limited time if u are an O2 customer and is discounted after this period runs out, it can also be bought at a discounted rate using Tesco Vouchers.
StarZ play is currently on offer for £1.99 a month.
Netflix is included on some Virgin TV plans.
Paramount is included with sky Cinema if you subscribe through a sky box/glass.
All I'm saying is if you shop around you don't need to pay the full rate.
BBC i-player and all-4 are also good "free" services.
Please note free in quotation marks for those that complain about the license fee.

Signed up and then realised there's nothing on there I seem to be interested in.

    Sounds like Netflix and NowTV

Also worth noting if you have sky cinema then you get 12 months free anyway.

Go into the Perks section on your Xbox dashboard, select the perk and click claim. It gave me a QR code to scan, the full URL and an Open in Edge button. Took me to the standard Paramount+ sign up page and says 7 day free trial not 30 days. May have been fixed since I tried last night.

Excuse my dimness but how do I now watch it? Is there an app I can download to my tv? Thanks
    Glasshalfsmashed58's avatar
Never be embarrassed at needing to ask a question.
There's an app on the Google play store. That's how I did it, but I couldn't redeem the code there. Had to Google Paramount Plus. Do it there.
  8. Glasshalfsmashed58's avatar
SHORE code not working for me..

You can VPN it. I Just successfully did so on Android. Basically clear cache on Google play. Then delete app. Turn USA Vpn on. Then go to Google play and reinstall. Log on as normal and you now have the USA Version. And as you said, it's much better!
  10. all2humanuk's avatar
So if Star Trek: Picard is on there now does anyone know what happens to it on Amazon Prime?

Its garbage. We have many episodes less than USA to watch and it doesn't work on phones as you can only watch in the middle with no zoom etc. Tried on 3 phones. Works on a tablet thoe.
    ogeran's avatar

Hiya , I think I fixed it. I deleted the app . Then cleared cache on play store and turned VPN into USA. Then download app again, logged in and everything is USA based! Loads of footy as well . To answer your original question I was only trying a few but used surfshark, windscribe and monodefences VPN unlimited.

Congrats on your very hot 1st deal post and Thank you!

Something to add as well is that if you have a VPN, it unlocks plenty of various content all over the world.

Canada and South America have a lot of better and bigger content on Paramount + than what's available in the UK. (edited)

Can't use a VPN it's Geolocked in the UK some ppl are talking rubbish probably for attention
    ogeran's avatar
    🤷🏻‍♂️ It worked for me?
Try Mexico or Canada. First clear cache on Google Play. Then delete paramount app. Then turn VPN on, try Mexico first. Once VPN up and running go to Google play and reinstall paramount. Log in. Boom. should have the Mexican library which is significantly bigger than UK one. Also has unsurprisingly a LOT of South American TV shows

Anyone know if you cancel after a few days whether you still get the 1 month trial? Can't see me taking out a paid sub but thanks for posting... free is free after all but sadly other than Seal Team I'm struggling to find much that is of interest! Thanks

Yeah it still works. I cancelled instantly

Anyone know how to sync this month free trial account to the Prime video app on the LG OS? I go to the Channel section in Prime video and it starts a new 7 day free trial seperate to the month long free trial I've started thanks to this deal. Both my Amazon prime and Paramount+ use the same email address but there was nowhere on the Prime video app to "sign in" only "sign up"
    b41rns's avatar
I don't think you can, the app on prime only allows you to subscribe through Amazon and won't let you use your paramount account.
  17. b41rns's avatar
Does anyone know when this runs out?
    Heat added.

Cheers OP. Looking at their library though, can't imagine how anyone would pay money for the service, the content they have on there is shockingly bad...
    JesusChristFenton's avatar
I think their back catalogue is pretty good, but their new shows hold no interest for me personally.
  19. ThisIsFitz's avatar
Great Post op, but after having a look through the TV and movie selection, horrendous stuff. Suprised they're even trying to break into the UK market.

Only good thing I could see is that they have all of the South Park episodes and the new short movies.
    PlaidZ's avatar
Watched the short movies over the weekend: Post COVID, Post COVID returns and Streamers Wars - they haven’t lost their mojo. Started Halo and that was fairly decent. (edited)
  20. Impoor's avatar
Thanks. Super lame they don't have an app for LG tvs
    maxcovergold's avatar
Yep, baffling more so as their site says it's on LG content store for TV's with WebOS 3 and up. But it's not showing on mine
  21. jimel's avatar
Warning: sign up via the site not the app. App doesn't offer option for voucher code (that I can see anyway)
  22. EN1GMA's avatar
I can confirm what has said. Switched on Canada vpn and the number of things available increases significantly which Inc sonic 2.

    Thanks, OP Fantastic 1st-time post!
Grabbed the 1-month code while it is there???
Already had 7 days on prime so great to finish up on some other series and with still plenty of content to watch: ....
....1883 (So Good), StarTrek Stange new Worlds (Loving it), Halo, The Offer(Great watch), Yellowstone and more.... and I've
Still have not paid a penny!
    Wow, where is the problem?

You can access content on your PlayStation via the Apple TV app. I just watched beavis and butthead do the universe that way
  29. trevnod's avatar
Honestly paramount plus is one of the poorer streaming services. No 4K, no HDR, no Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos
  30. dealpickle's avatar
    Heat from me!

Can this be used in addition to the 7-day trial, or is it one or the other? I haven't done either yet.
    XP200's avatar
    One or the other.
  31. Teepeezee's avatar
Just a FYI - if you're a current Sky Cinema customer you get Paramount+ for free. Plus it can have 6 devices if you want to share it with family. It works as I signed my mum and dad up for it at the weekend.

All the details here - Free for sky cinema users
    thecresta's avatar
Even Sky don't use the word "free".

It's included in the subscription cost.
  32. GamesMore247's avatar
To watch Sonic 2 and get other films we don't get, use a VPN and set it to Canada. That worked for me, I couldn't login when using U.S. on the VPN.
  33. deathblowff7's avatar
Cannot recommend this enough just to watch the new Beavis and Butthead movie, one of the funniest films I've seen in years
  34. EN1GMA's avatar
Got to say, for 6.99 and Canada content, it's actually pretty good vfm. UK content is not great but other region content makes very worthwhile.
    EN1GMA's avatar

I've not tried any other except USA and Canada. USA doesn't work because the service is structured differently. But Canada does. Not even sure if paramount is available in Japan and Netherlands
  35. ogeran's avatar
Been playing around with this using several different countries. There is quite a different library from place to place but overall not bad. The man who fell to earth for example is on the Mexico paramount but not the Canada one. Tbh I think a month will be fine if I go through various countries but not sure I'd pay for it even with VPN.
  36. kazkdp's avatar
Startrek SNW. How come only 4 episodes out on the service, but when checking the release dates it's 9 episodes are out? What am I missing ? Ta
    DetMerc's avatar
I guess you are missing that we are in the UK, whereas those release dates relate to the US.
Strange for a streaming service to have different release dates for different countries, but possibly P+ didn't want people just binge watching the whole thing with their free month.
Hopefully future seasons will release simultaneously with the US.
