I apologise for my terrible joke, if I use the Kevin Spacey excuse will it get me off the hook?

Holy hell. It’s worth a pound to launch it against a wall. Disgrace to music. Even if it was to work, it would last 4 mins before falling apart and sound so bad you’ll hate yourself.

I don't know whether to laugh at just how bad this will be, or marvel at the fact that 20 years ago this would have been £200 and now it's a quid!

I still remember the 512mb mp3 players and being amazed how much storage they had. That said, I used minidiscs throughout my teens so I think I'm officially old.

Thanks OP

Same here in all respects. For me was a mixture of CDs, minidiscs and then MP3, all crossing over in a fairly short space of time. Minidiscs were just awesome - the last of the physical media formats that allowed you to put together a mix tape!

The kids nowadays don't even bother to steal MP3's as music is so fast moving now, they all have premium streaming service accounts on their smartphones. Limewire, Frostwire, MIRC, ripping mates CD's, using the Nokia N Gage built in recording feature, those were the days...

I wonder if this mp3 was recently discovered after 20 years, it's been almost that long since i last saw an mp3 player with such little memory for sale

Great deal.....if you only have 16 songs on your playlist!

Gonna sound so old now but god they don't know how good they have it! To just have an album there in the click of a button....I used to spend most of my money on CD singles and recorded my fave songs off the Top 40 each Sunday night onto cassette. But I wouldn't change it for the world But like you said...then Limewire, Napster, Kazaa etc came along and the game changed, even if on dial up lmao

Aye they do have it good sort of, but the music now seems so temporary, and it's abit too easy and it is how the powers that be want it. One big corporate scheme of phone contracts, music streaming contracts, movie watching contracts, games with pay for content etc.

I forgot about cassettes, was tricky to not get the radio DJ voice on it!. Plus it was fun making your own cassetes with the Mic, and god it is damn hard to find a working twin deck cassete recorder with mic, and thats what alot of official interviews with goverment bodies request if you want to record them for your own legal records.

it doesn't seem to let you add more than 2 to a basket. i've been looking for something like this, getting a bunch of them to give away as freebies, preloaded with something
