Really really good reviews on the hotel, plus breakfast the following morning and two tickets to the Beatles Tour for £44.50pp! You can stay another night but obviously a higher cost.

This award-winning attraction is located on the Albert Dock on the Liverpool Waterfront. The Beatles Story is the world's largest permanent exhibition devoted to The Beatles and provides visitors with a magical history tour of how four young lads from Liverpool rose to become the greatest band of all time. Find out how they first met, explore an exact replica of The Cavern Club that The Beatles played in 292 times and take an underwater trip on the Yellow Submarine. Living History audio guides are available in ten languages and you can also take in the newly opened exhibit within the Beatles Story, The British Invasion: How 1960s beat groups conquered America, showcasing previously unseen artefacts and photographs from bands such as The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, James Brown and The Supremes.

I stayed at Malmaison in Liverpool and they do a package too that includes the Beatles tour, its worth going to and makes this good value!
Nah, I need more than £89 to convince me to go to Liverpool
Liverpool & Bristol are the best 2 cities in England to visit . The Beatles Tour & 4D Experience is awesome. Heat added .
Darren the best two cities in England are London and of course London again.

Being A West Ham fan i've visited our Capital on many occasions ( usually gone home disappointed i must add ) & have to disagree. The sheer scale of visitors in the main attraction areas make getting around very slow , everyone on the tube looks like they've lost a tenner & found a pound , Pubs & restaurants are too expensive - not to mention housing . Having been to every city in England ( & staying in them all except 2 ) they are my 2 favs anyway

Clearly you've forgotten about Birmingham :-)
There's also a real Beatles themed hotel in Liverpool, minutes walk from the excellent shopping centre.

Even if you don't stay there, try the Beatles cocktail bar next to the lobby.

Birmingham was fine until that misshapen golf ball thingy totally spoiled the Bullring area.
