This seems a good deal and its one of the highest rated hotels in Blackpool on all the review sites and its right next to the Pleasure Beach, you can see the rollercoaster from some of the hotels windows. One night for 2 is £89 or 2 nights for £139 available until 29th December Sunday to Friday and you can stay on a Saturday for an extra £20.

You get a bottle of wine in your room on arrival (Worth £18), late checkout until 1pm (Worth £30) a three course set menu dinner (First night only if staying 2 nights) worth £24 per person and breakfast. You stay in a deluxe double room and it says you can add one child up to age 12 on a sofa bed and also babies under one stay free with free travel cot provided - use the special request field at checkout to request this.

3044863-tx6ul.jpg
The Pleasure Beach is open until 4th November and I have just checked the dates and its showing availabilty at these prices for half term so if you have one child looks like a bargain break? Our area breaks up the 26th October and back 5thNovember, it may be different in other areas though. Just checkout the Pleasure Beach website and you can book tickets for half term week for £19.50 a person in advance and also if you don't want to ride, you can just get entry without a ride wristband for £6 which is good as most theme parks don't usually offer this.

3044863-3fWPs.jpg

Also Blackpool Zoo nearby and the Sandcastle Waterpark so not just the Pleasure Beach if you did go for the 2 night option. The tram stop is over the road from the hotel and a 15 minute ride down to the Blackpool Tower too. I love Blackpool we go every year for the illuminations but only stay the day but I am very seriously considering this!

To be honest, Shanty town is probably the highest accolade that could be bestowed on the Pool.
Come on, just look at the other side of the strip, it's a complete dive, go into town and the pubs have sticky carpets, the drinks are watered down, it was voted the most miserable place to live (even beating Hull ).

The only good part of Blackpool is the Pleasure Beach, the Hotel in this deal and when you leave.
Deep down you know i'm right and i'm sure others will agree
Good deal, close enough to the rides and well away from the shanty town and hen/stags

It says on the page that Saturdays are available for extra £20, but there is no way to choose a Saturday on the date selector.

Think they are booked up until November / December as they are available then

Normally Saturday supplements are payable direct to hotel. Just ring before you book, normally hotel will honour deal price anyway.

Got to agree, the last twice (never again) my wife and I stayed over in Blackpool made my mind up I would never return, first time was back in our Hilton hotel bar(very late & very drunk) we were of great interest to a lady with a dog walking round chatting, she was very interested in my wife's handbag "oh that's a lovely bag" to the point I had to say " get your *#@*& hands off it and f&#@ off" to which she replied "do you like dogs, dogging?" by the time my head processed it she said "do you want a threesum?" obviously she thought I was so drunk she would get my wife's bag at some point but I am NEVER that drunk!
Last time we were just doing a bit of a pub crawl along the road behind the main strip, little did we know we were in the bar above the strip club and it was dodgy, my wife said I'm going out for a smoke and headed off out, that set off an uproar from a large gang of lads as one got up and followed her out "go on son go o for it" "go on!" I could see out the window he went and got a light off her so stud up so I could see "what ya lookin at that's my brother out there, you got a problem with I'm?" as he started walking over to me and others were getting up, thinking on my feet I just replied no, I'm just keeping an eye on my wife it can be rough out there, we're off now anyways see you around mate......

Sorry but this in a pricey scruffy rough place through the day and getting to be a no go place on a night time

Me too... but sadly its now a concentration camp for the destitute, with cheap accommodation used by the council to house the homeless.
You can't even escape the ghost town (I remember there was a gift shop every 10 yards along the prom) of boarded up shops because greed of the funfair (6 quid just to walk round) and Merlin Tower, which approaches £100 to see it all....
Blackpool is alright for 3-4 hours but anything more than that and I've had enough. It's definitely all front as the backstreets are full of druggies and single mums walking round in pyjamas!
If Blackpool's not your thing you can jump on a tram and go to St Annes. It's a base too for a run into the Lakes if you want to spend a day somewhere a little more upmarket.

It looks like a decent break for the money to me. Hot.

Trams end at star gate, they don’t go to st Anne’s. I get your point though a very affluent area. I live in Cleveleys which isn’t bad at all, another tram ride. Blackpool is getting worse in respect to the destitute people but on the flip side it had Will Smith last year and Brittany spears this year performing, bizarre.

Haha very true though
Its ok to go once but no more than once. I stayed in the hotel next to Blackpool FC stadium.

Wouldn't go back, it's too far for one when other locations are nearer.

I thought this place was about to be knocked down or totally transformed Inn some way. Is this an opportunity to flog off the last few nights?

Love the cheese shop on the high st in Clevelels
This is a truly excellent deal.

As it happens, I've got a 4 day stay in The Imperial (also wonderful) which I was looking to extend by a day or two. I had the booking page on Hotels.com ready to go then I saw this. Brilliant!

My fiance and I always have a great time. There's some crazy stuff that goes on at night I'm sure, but with a lovely hotel room why on earth would you bother with that?

If arcades are your thing Golden Mile Amusements and Coral Island are really decent, give the others a wide berth. The Pleasure Beach is my favourite amusement/theme park in the country. The zoo and Sealife centre are both great, if not exceptional.

The town centre is quite average but has most of the chains you might want. Harry Ramsdens in the Tower is pretty fancy as is 'The Velvet Coaster' Wetherspoons (right near the Pleasure Beach).

The Illuminations is something really quite unique and special.

I genuinely love the place. It gets a bad rep, some of which is justified but the stuff that implies the whole place is a dosshole is just ignorant.

It's not hard to discover what's good and what's not (and then avoid those bits).

Cool story
Asleep in perfect blue buildings
Beside the green apple sea
Gonna get me a little oblivion
Try to keep myself away from me…

Voted hot, I like Blackpool.
Admittedly, it does have an element that occasionally needs its nose put out of joint.
But there's loads of places that have that.
Went Pleasure Beach last year n either didn't see any wrong uns or we were the wrong uns.

I'm just trying to book this deal as I went last year and enjoyed it (last night of the illuminations) but when I look at each date there is no mention of the deal including dinner. Any clues what I am doing wrong?
This deal has now expired (unfortunately). Keep an eye out for after the New Year deals
