Boasting a Victorian style blended with modern amenities, Royal Hotel Hull welcomes travellers to the historical city of Hull. Thanks to the central location of the hotel, guests will be within easy reach of the various dining and entertainment venues of the city. St Stephen’s shopping centre is located just a minute away, while The Deep aquarium is less than 10 minutes away.

Relaxation can be found in comfortable rooms featuring en suite bathrooms, traditional decor, TVs with Freeview channels, and hot drink-making facilities.

The hotel restaurant offers a seasonal a la carte menu as well as afternoon tea and traditional English breakfast to help guests start their day on the right foot. Those who would rather stay in the comfort of their room can also take advantage of room service.

Groupon’s Guide To East YorkshireDotted with rolling plains, steep valleys and scattered cliffs, East Yorkshire is appreciated for its overall rural settings which turn this picturesque county into a magnet for globetrotters in love with all the things countryside has to offer. Urban areas like the town of Bridlington are frequented for their coastal landscape, with highlights including the Flamborough Headland, a Heritage Coast of unique beauty.

Crossing the Cleveland Way at Filey Brigg, the winding 127km-long Wolds Way challenges keen ramblers, but travellers can also enjoy heritage tourism at the medieval Skipsea Castle, Fort Paull, the Stamford Bridge, the early 18th-century Sewerby Hall or the iconic Norman-style Burton Agnes Manor House which dates back to the 12th century.

Went by train to Hull once, couldn't understand why they automatically sold you a return - until I got there.

Ho ho ho. An old and hackneyed joke beloved of second rate stand ups and people who’ve not visited this fine city since the last world war. And I don’t even live anywhere near it - it’s just a great city with great people.
To be fair hull is ok . Stopped there last year at the hallmark hotel with views of the humber bridge when eating brekkie

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.
Many people who quite Hull as been a crappy place are relics who probably haven't visited for years if at all.
No mean feat becoming city of culture, yes it still has its moments as do all cities.

This hotel had an air of class many moons ago.
You know that's shot when you can stay on a Friday night for £29.

Be Aware,.... this is a Britannia hotel (Hull itself is perfectly fine, plenty to see, just stay in the Hilton or Holiday Inn)

So if you are seriously considering this, then just save urself £49 and top yourself instead !!!!

Ive been in better prisons than Britannia hotels

No idea why people stay at their hotels. Worst chain I have ever had the misfortune to stay at, luckily I wasn't paying.
This was an excellent hotel. Sorry to see Britannia have got their vile claws on it. Deal over. Hull Hot, hotel cold
Stayed at this hotel a few times including a few weeks ago it has a side entrance on the train station so 100mt from where the trains arrive and depart so its very handy and right in the city center. The trains are the modern new ones. The hotel is ok its not 5 star but i would say 3 star but its clean and modern downstairs, rooms are ok but there is a lot of them so pot luck sometimes, staff good and nice large foyer for coffee and beers. Hull is one of the best nights out you will get anywhere in the country and cheap prices and very friendly ,youve got a great marina area with bars and restaurants the old town with cobbled streets and went to princess avenue with all its bars and restaurants with music in most of them this is a run till about 11 then taxi into the old town there is plenty to do daytime. Id have no problem taking the lady with me and she is fussy its a great price for 2 i usually pay that for 1 without meals or wine.
