It's over night accommodation not a 24 hour stay.

Not such a great price when you consider check in is in the 'AFTERNOON ' …Not such a great price when you consider check in is in the 'AFTERNOON ' 3pm and check out is 11am. Yes I know Travelodge etc is at 2pm in the afternoon. I can't understand how these hotels are getting away with charging for a 24hr stay and only giving 20hrs at best(They all seem to be doing it).

If it was 24hr stay, when would they be able to clean the rooms?

So you think they are spending Four hours cleaning each room? Really!!!!!

No, but there will be lots of rooms to clean. Do you think before you type?

Or should everyone have a different check-out time

Room 1 - you have to be out by 12
Room 2 - you have to be out by 12.15
etc...
Hardly seems fair!

Using that same logic should I expect to vacate the room (11am-3pm)and have no access when spending more than one night there? Just

Suppose they could snook in quietly vacuum and clean round you?
Wonder do any of you do a Four in the Bed and check for dust and hairs then deduct from bill, be a laugh at check out.

Not to mention, most hotels will usually let you check in early if the room is ready
We arrived early at 1.15 planning to grab lunch but they let us into room early
£2 greggs for breakfast

They "get away with it" because most people don't travel to somewhere else in the country purely to sit in a hotel room to get their money's worth.

Decent deal for a Village Hotel, certainly my preferred choice over Premier Inn when traveling for work.

Fair!!!
What's there to be fair about it?
Im paying for a room for what I would expect to be Jan for 24hrs, If they dont employ enough people to do the rooms and over work the cleaning staff how is that on me?
Most hotels are check in 2/3pm and check out 11/12am some places are 10. I have no idea why you are complaining. No hotel in the country gives you a room for 24 hours unless you are staying another night. You are incorrect about Travel lodge to check in is 3pm and check out is actually 12 unless you want to pay an extra £10 for the privilege of an early check in and another £10 to check out at 2pm. What you are saying is farcical and I'm actually presuming you are saying it as a joke. How many hotels can you stay overnight in for £69 with dinner and a drink. Also if you got 5here early you could use their facilities just not have access to your room although, every hotel I've stayed in has let me have access to my room early providing the housekeepers have finished

2 points
1. Where does it say 24 hours? Anywhere. At all. Ever
2. Who is Jan?

If everyone left at the same time, the guests next day wouldn’t have clean rooms to come too.
It’s only fair they have sufficient time to clean the rooms.
Shame you can’t squeeze 3 in a room, ideal overnight stay before early rise to go to airport
Cold - It's not a whole week, including airport transfers, massage and beauty treatments.

Would be better if they had a free creche, dog walking service and car valeting.

Wake me up when that offer goes live.

Seriously, there's no pleasing some people

I stayed at the dudley village hotel with my gf and daughter over new year and grabbed a family room for £35( double with convertible sofa) .
All you need to do is put in your dates and chosen hotel. then when it lists the rooms available click edit at the top of the screen and change it to 3 people per room and then click update.

They took my money at the time of booking then an extra £43 per room after we checked out. It’s now three weeks later and I’m still fighting them for a refund.

Really ...this is a great deal. For a start of the last guest has gone at 11am there’s a decent chance the room will be cleaned by 3.... I often turn up on business at about 11:30pm and am gone by 7am straight after breakfast. The timing is fine... who wants to spend the time in your room anyway!!
If I see word Prosecco once again today I'm going offline for 24h

Errrrr for when you have a secretly booked night away for your other halfs b'day and a kid free afternoon/night/morning/afternoon of hot passion planned then I want to be spending that in our room thanks not doin it in the corridor or in the restaurant! (maybe might have been a bit more naughty in my 20's!) xx
Not in Glasgow
Im shocked at reading some of these comments.... have some of you never stayed in a hotel before? Show me what hotel offers a full 24 hour stay but advertises as 1 night... The OP has spotted a deal which is a decent price for an overnight stay with dinner and glass of prosecco but here we have the deal police jumping on it and slating it. Perhaps a night out and a stay in a hotel would do the “deal police” the world of good instead of sitting waiting to pounce on every deal that doesnt meet your high standards. Voted hot from me @millarcat 🏼

Too true!!!
£34.50 pp?

Your maths is a little off. Since when do you take a partner of the opposite sex to a hotel, and they pay half?

Last time I took a woman to a hotel it cost me a house and car.
