Granted, it doesn't look very appealing in the pictures from outside, but if you are heading to Glasgow or Edinburgh this is a bargain at just £7 a night.

I haven't tried any other dates but 16 Jan works.

Well done.
Weather hopefully is kind.
Any other dates found?
Still a fair drive to either Edinburgh or Glasgow, and you have to stay in this dump!
Although it says Livingston, it's actually in Whitburn.
£7/night? Probably cheaper than a night at home!
26 miles to Glasgow and 23 miles to Edinburgh, terrible base for either.
Looks like it's around a mile from the M8 Motorway so if you were planning to visit both in a car, it would make it an ideal distance from both.
Some overly-harsh comments here ... it's £3.50 per person per night ! As Jamie said, you'd probably pay more in gas & electricity just to stay at home !
I agree with last comment. There's plenty to see and do in West Lothian as well as a great shopping centre nearby in Livingston with many foodie places to eat.
Cannot see this - has it ended?

Our gas and electricity doesn't cost £2,555 per year!
Ahh, how frustrating - I actually happen to need a hotel somewhere near Edinburgh Airport on the very night of the 16th ready for our Norwegian flights to Connecticut on the 17th but can't find this on Travel Republic at all now - even if it wasn't great it would have done the job for an overnight stay! Can you still see it online Rachel? Thanks for posting!

If anybody has booked this on a whim because it's so cheap, and then changes their mind, then give me a shout and I'll buy it from you - it would have been ideal, and chances of it being the one night that we actually need in the area we want too... snooze/lose!!

There's a Mecure, premier inn and a travel lodge in Livingston which are all cheap I'm often up there with work
The alternative is you pay £200+ a night to stay in a crap B&B near Tollcross. This is a bargain and about a 30-40 minute bus ride into Edinburgh on the First bus 27/28 for about £6 return which takes you right onto Princes Street.
